Flow monitoring Flow monitoring is a procedure that demands a reliable and reproducible surveillance of limit values and flow patterns. Flow sensors detect critical deviations of the flow rate of liquid and gaseous media. Typical areas of application are the monitoring of cooling circuits in welding applications for example, protection against dry running of pumps, as well as the flow monitoring in air ducts and air conditioning equipment. Because of the calorimetric mode the media temperature is also monitored. Flow rate measurement In addition to reproducibility, flow-rate measurement demands a defined degree of accuracy. The flow meters continuously and accurately measure a defined volume of a fluid per unit of time and are suitable for applications where qualitatively consistent process results and a steady supply of fluids is essential. Airflow system for the Desiro ML/ÖBB, Austria Having developed and manufactured the airflow system for the Desiro ML Mittelrheinbahn and the Desiro ML Brussels, TC is now also producing the airflow system for the Desiro ÖBB. The respective systems are based on pultruded profiles made of fibre glassreinforced plastic. For the air ducting system, the fire protection properties of the GRP profiles were set in such a way as to meet the requirements in accordance with EN 45545.

As such, we manufacture shrink tunnels in a number of versions, with a variety of rods and chains that operate like a link mesh belt. Textile mesh belts are also possible for very light products. In each case, the length of the shrink tunnel depends on the speed of packaging and on the film material selected. State-of-the-art air ducting and heat recovery ensure efficient energy use, helping us to contribute to both protection of the environment and reducing energy costs. The decision on whether to use a shrink tunnel with circulating air or convection principle is defined depending on the individual product application of the customer.

EEx’e’ certified electric duct air heater EEx e T2 – T6 ATEX The “LEH-Exe” type electric heaters comprise a range of certified EEx e air duct heaters, custom built to meet client specifications and suitable for use in zone 1 & 2 hazardous areas. The main applications are the heating of air in ventilation - / air conditioning or heat-recovery installations. Wide use areas are applications of the process - / environment-technology i.e. at the catalytic afterburning of exhaust fumes or drying ovens or in the plastic - / textile or paper industry. Through a variable construction concept, diverse use possibilities emerge. The application of highly compacted electrical heating elements with high purity compacted magnesium oxide powder sheathed metal tube and the direct heat transfer at the medium to be heated leads to an efficient realization of the electric energy to thermal energy. Special materials of acid constant rustproof steel stand for the heating of aggressive media by disposal. Alternatively, the heaters can be delivered also in the materials INCOLOY, INCONEL, HASTELLOY and MONEL. Open wire heating elements are the best solution for air heating when used in fans. Because of our longlasting experience in this field, we can offer you a series construction in most cases. To use our open wire or coil heating elements in air, the installation of a cut-out is necessary (heat accumulation). The connection is done by a plug at the element (Faston 4,8 or 6,3) or by a cord set. Device for automatically blowing the adhering water off after passing through the pretreatment plant. The rotary blow-off zone is a device for blowing the adhesive water off workpieces that have been washed for the purposes of painting. It consists of a closed stainless steel sheet metal housing with forced ventilation and is employed immediately after the washing installation. In order to achieve more effective drying in the case of fissured surfaces, the blower nozzles are arranged on a rotary axis. The adhering water is blown off by the parts by air blown at high speed through the rotary blower nozzles. The effect of this is that no water droplets remain on the workpiece that could lead to slight marks in the paint film. Due to the varying blowing direction, the water is also blown out of problem zones and scooped parts in most cases. In order to be able to optimise the direction of the blower nozzle air jets, the nozzles have adjustable nozzle heads. The water that is blown off runs back into the pretreatment plant. The blowing air is extracted from the blowing tunnel via a return air duct with adjustable suction apertures.
