RSLD is our short cut for a laser head consisting of a total of 3 motorized axes for use in large-format laser machines in gantry design for the 3-dimensional laser cutting of components. The horizontal main axis of the laser head permits endless movement, even during the rotary movement the axes below are permanently supplied with cooling water, process gases and all electrical signals. Suitable optics are used for the laser source used, either directly water-cooled metal mirrors with low-absorption coating or alternatively glass optics. The use of an adaptive optics enables the freely programmable focus position for cutting and piercing. The exclusive use of torque motors reduces mechanically moving components and thus guarantees consistently high machining accuracy and best machining results over a long service life, against mechanical damage reliably protects our proven 3D collision protection.

To create ideal conditions in terms of rigidity and damping for multi-axis machining, the series was equipped with hydrostatic (oil) bearings. By using diamond tools, optical surface quality can be achieved on a wide range of materials like crystals, nonferrous metals and plastics, even with complex geometries. Similar to the MMC 600/900 air bearing machines, the basic setup can be equipped with various accessories. The basic setup consists of 3 linear axes and can be upgraded by additional rotary, tilt or spindle axes to 4, 5 or 6 axes. Accessories, like different spindles, vacuum chucks, palleting systems, 3D touch probes for workpiece measurement, tool changer and automated tool setting, allow an effective use of the machine. The iXRAY solves almost all measuring, automation and documentation tasks for single and multi-layer pipes and hoses. Thanks to a precise spatial resolution and repeatabilities in the µm range, the system reliably generates exact measurement data. At high line speeds, the X-ray system - optionally two or three axes - delivers precise measurement results. The standard systems are available for pipe dimensions from 1 to 63 mm. The iXRAY series is user-friendly and the line operator only has to select the pipe, hose, or cable recipe to start the measurement. Unbeatable small installation depth and the highest stability in its class. The joysticks of the series 844 exhibit properties, which are normally found in heavy-duty products only, even though it is a very compact finger joystick. For example, with handle "T" the 844 becomes the most compact stock grip joystick with push button (see picture above in the center). In this configuration, the 844 has the advantage over larger models of lower price and space requirements. The joysticks of the series 844 are equipped with wear-less Hall Effect sensors, are available with up to 3 axes, and exhibit a robust mechanical construction, with a ball-socket pivot. It withstands high push, pull, translational and rotational forces, up to a load of 400 N (vertically). The operational lifetime is up to 10 million operations. With protection up to IP65, a variety of handle shapes, limiters and output options, the optimum product can be selected for the application.

Unique: The TRY20 offers 3 axes and is still a compact thumb joystick The joysticks of the TRY20 series are unique in their class thanks to their rotatable knob, which, as a z-axis, offers an additional third, proportional degree of freedom for controlling the application. The industrial joysticks achieve the highest level of quality in terms of mechanics, materials and workmanship. The high-quality haptics convey a secure operating feeling and enable the user to precisely control movements in several dimensions. Double (redundant) outputs are optionally available, which enable use in safety-critical applications. Variants with protection class IP40 (hardcover) and sealed variants (rubber bellows) with protection class IP54 are available. If the z-axis (the rotatable knob) is not required, the 2-axis version with protection class IP65 can be implemented as a special version.

Inherently RFI/EMC immune and most flexible in its class The joysticks of the series 842 exhibit properties, which are normally found in bigger joystick models only, even though it is a very compact finger joystick. Particularly worth mentioning is the possibility to configure the three axes independently and the option for a friction clutch in x and/or y-axis. The series is equipped with potentiometers, because potentiometers are still the best choice if EMI/RFI resistance requirements are very high. The joysticks are available with up to 3 axes, and exhibit a robust mechanical metal mechanism. This way the return properties of the x and y-axis can be changed by e.g. using a stronger or weaker spring, or by using a friction clutch.
