Our underlay films serve for the additional coverage of the silage in feed silos. They are utilised underneath the actual silo film and thus provide the ultimate protection for the sensitive silage. The films are transparent and 40µm thick. We are able to supply widths of 4.00 m to 18 m.

Our agricultural stretch films (Blown Stretch Films) are PIB-based blown stretch films. Due to the special blown-film extrusion process they provide an even greater protection than cast stretch films. In agriculture, they predominately serve for the production of so-called silage bales which reliably protect the feed in small consumption units against weather and moisture for a long time and thus ensure that the feed retains its high quality. With their excellent adhesive characteristics our agricultural stretch film optimally seals the bale against the outside. The film has a thickness of 25µm and is available in the colours white, black, light green and dark green in the dimensions 750 x 1500 m² or 500 x 1800 m².

We produce our manual films in a variety of widths, thicknesses and quality levels from blown-extrusion films to cast stretch films. As well as the usual, still elastic hand rolls, we also offer pre-stretched manual films. To improve visual protection and protection from theft, all our manual films can be coated in the standard colours black and white. Further colouration according to our colour reference catalogue are also possible. However, we also continuously develop individual colourations in cooperation with our customers, so for example to incorporate the brand colour of the customer. Depending on the customer's request, we equip our manual films one-sided normal-adhesive / one-sided strong-adhesive or with a smooth side.

For automated processing we produce machine films in blown-film extrusion as well as cast processes. Film formulas with various amounts of maximum elasticity and resistance to penetration in various strengths and roll widths allow us to cover the entire spectrum of processing requirements for a stretch film. The type of film application depends on the respective load, the application purpose (dust protection or actual load security) and the machine utilised for the stretching. We are able to service all types of machines - from simple stretch machines operating only with braking power to the high performance stretch facilities with high rotational speed. Our construction films are characterised by their high quality and excellent technical properties. Depending on the customer's requirements, we produce the following qualities: Transparent Our transparent construction film consists of polyethylene with minimum density (LD-PE). This high-quality film type is characterised by excellent transparency without any coloration. The production occurs according to GKV standard. Translucent Our translucent construction film (eco-film) is produced from selected recycling granules. The colour of the translucent, robust film is subject to slight deviations due to the different coloration of the recycling material. The production occurs in accordance with the GKV standard. Opaque Our opaque construction film is made from selected dark recycling granulates and is available in various colours. The opaque quality is characterised by a slight translucence. It is manufactured according to GKV standards.

These films serve as insulation sheets in the brickwork for the protection against rising damp and moisture. Our masonry insulation films may be laid either directly onto the concrete slab or on the first brick row. Thus, they provide a barrier layer which is insurmountable for the rising damp. The brickwork is optimally protected.

These standardised special films are utilised in the interior and roof expansion. In the roof expansion they insulate the roof construction inwardly against wind and moisture and provide insulation against the loss of heat and maximum protection against moisture toward the outside. Our vapour barrier films comply with the regulations of DIN EN 13984:2005 Insulation films - plastic and elastomer vapour barrier films Our films are furthermore equipped with an additive to inhibit flames and thus comply with the definition and characteristics, fire class E according to DIN EN 13501-1, CE. We offer a broad spectrum of bulk rolls for fabricators of stretch films, which process bulk rolls to small rolls, hand rolls or pre-stretched hand and machine rolls - on a blown-extrusion as well as a cast basis.

POLIFILM supplies stretch films for each field of application - from the mere protection from dust up to the reliable securing of loads. Particularly this application is becoming increasingly important as the insufficient securing of loads may have legal consequences. In order to truly secure a load with the aid of the stretch film it has to be ensured that Our films comply with these high standards. Numerous types of films are certified for the suitability in securing loads by the TÜV. Our stretch films are available in thicknesses from 8 µm and with a guaranteed elasticity of more than 300 percent. Pallets can be efficiently wrapped with all films - whereby the cheapest roll or kilo price is not always the most economical solution.

These films serve for the temporary surface protection from the damage caused by processing, transport and installation - for example as thermal laminating or paint protection or as carrier films in the production of adhesive protective films. Typical examples of application are painted steel sheets and plastic panels. Our protective films are characterised by optimal thickness tolerances, low amount of specks and machine processing. Due to the exact coordination of the film with the surface requiring protection and the exact compliance with the lamination parameters we are able to provide our customers with the individually defined adhesive values for every application.

Our peat films are used as temporary cover for peat mounds (sods). They serve as weather protection and thus increase the quality of the peat.

Our light-proof ground cover films are utilised in agriculture and horticulture to cover the soil of beds or agricultural areas to prevent the growth of weeds. The bright white side of the film ensures maximum light yield in artificial sunlight and thus provides optimum plant yield also during periods with little sunshine (autumn/winter).

Our strawberry films are particularly used for the cultivation of strawberries in mound cultures to achieve a faster heating of the soil and simultaneously prevent dehydration. The light-proof film supresses the growth of weeds between the plants. Simultaneously, the white surface ensures optimal light yield and thus increased the growth of the fruit.

As a black and white cover sheeting, our asparagus films fulfil a valuable double function, which is why they are also called "control films": If the black side is facing up, the sun rays are better absorbed. Asparagus farmers predominately use this effect in cold weather to expedite the growth of the asparagus. If the white side is facing up, the sun rays are better reflected. A decisive advantage in hot weather to inhibit rapid and thus quality-reducing asparagus growth and to extend the harvesting period. Our transparent asparagus films assist in reaching an earlier harvesting moment. The transparent film is hereby laid out in addition to the black and white cover sheeting. This so-called mini-tunnel process achieves temperatures of more than 40 degrees on the surface of the soil sometimes as early as mid-March.

Our mulching films are applied in agriculture as well as horticulture to cover the ground of beds or agricultural areas. They inhibit the growth of weeds and are particularly essential in the cultivation of vegetables and strawberries. Our films can be punched at the location of the sowing and/or the planting individually for the plants to be cultivated.

Our side wall films provide protection from aggressive fermentation acid for bunker silo walls and seal the silos airtight - for optimum silage quality.

Our co-extruded silo films offer the optimum cover of grass or maize silage in bunker silos and thus ensure perfect conditions for the production of high quality feed. The effect of the films can be increased with the combined application of underlay films. Our silo films are available in the colours: black / black black / white green / white white / white green / black silver / green in widths of 4.00 m to 18.00 m.

Our automatic packaging films are utilised and/or processed in automatic systems in a host of different industries. For this purpose we establish individual solutions on site with the aid of special technologists to optimise the production process of our customers with respect to output. Our optimisation approach furthermore comprises a formula and product specific tailor-made solution for the individual application in order to reduce the existing cost position.

Our label films are perfectly suitable for the dimension-stable coating with solvent-containing, watery and hot-melt adhesive systems. Due to their high surface gloss they are brilliantly printable. They can also be easily punched and thus allow an attention attracting, individual design. Our label films are characterised by minimal thickness tolerance over the width of the roll, perfect flatness, register accuracy as well as excellent roll geometry. Depending on the customer requirements, we produce our films transparent, white as well as coloured according to specifications.
