POLIFILM comes with a large product assortment of protection films for added value aluminium surfaces. For this application the quality of the carrier film needs to be very specific due to the sensitivity of the fairly soft aluminium. Our protection films are suitable for mill finish aluminium as well as for glossy and even high gloss, anodized aluminium finishes. In addition to traditionally proven natural rubber adhesive formulations we also offer acrylic adhesive systems including easy peel formula for increased productivity. POLIFILM is offering a variety of solutions for glass protection. Typically transparent or translucent protection films are used for glass protection. For application, which do not require specific UV or weather resistance we have developed natural rubber adhesive systems, which can also be used for coated (low energy) glass. For applications with higher requirements concerning weathering performance we offer protection films with acrylic adhesives, which typically feature a 3 to 6 month weather resistance. In the United States of America POLIFILM developed an innovative product concept, which allows protection of glass under construction conditions for a period exceeding 12 months. This development was jointly conducted with Cardinal Glass.
