For many tasks in the field of automation technology, it is necessary to recognize the motional processes in pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders and to detect the position of the piston with precision. For this, magnetic cylinder sensors are used.

Error-proofing (PokaYoke) torque screwdriver with limit switch output to eliminate missed tightening. Ideal for assembly processes with torque monitoring. After reaching the set torque, the limit switch transmits a trigger signal. This can be picked up by means of a PLC, for example. At the same time, the slip clutch is activated, making over-torque impossible. Series RTDLS are adjustable models. Along the micrometer scale, the desired torque can be easily and quickly adjusted. A locking mechanism prevents unintentional torque adjustment during use. Series RNTDLS are fixed models without scale and are particularly suitable for repetitive tightening operations at the same torque. An additional auxiliary tool (sold separately) is available for each of the 500 cNm models for easier power transmission. Based on its specifications, this device can be used in various applications. It is especially suitable for resistance measurement on insulating materials such as e.g. cable insulations, foils, textiles, surfaces, insulating liquids,etc. With a test voltage of 45 V, 100 V, 250 V and 500 V the device fulfi ls most test specifi cations such as e.g. DIN 51953, 53482 and 54345. The guard switching allows single resistance measurements in a triangle wiring. This could be e.g. a two line cable with common shield or the measurement of insulating materials on a guardring measurement cell. The selection of the measurement range is done manually or automatically. Fast subsequent measurements can be realized by the internal limit value indicator. When the measured value exceeds the limit the limit value indicator switches and activates a potential-free relay output. The megohmmeter RESISTOMAT® model 24508 is the right instrument for its use in laboratory as well as in industrial applications.

The electronic temperature switch of BEDIA is fitted with thin-film resistor Pt 1000 in a bridge circuit. This sensor element provides close switch point tolerances and a quick response. Switch point and reset hysteresis may be selected within the admissible operating range when ordering so as to allow the monitoring of both very wide and very close temperature ranges. The switching output is protected from short-circuit and overload. The short-circuit current is limited by the output transistor switching off inthe event of a fault. It will automatically reset as soon as the fault has been remedied. The switch is available with ground-connected, plus-connected or potential-free DC switching output. The switch is open in the event of power failure or disconnection of the power supply, independed of the switching function. It is available both as normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) switch.

Rotary Slip-type Preset Pokayoke (Error-proofing) Torque Wrench A preset torque wrench that prevents 3 problems: under-tightening, over-tightening, and other human tightening errors. QSPCAMS and QSPCALS are rotary slip-type torque wrenches with wired limit switch. When set torque is reached, rotary slip occurs with simultaneous output of a contact signal from the limit switch. Signals from the limit switch are captured on a programmable logic controller (PLC) or similar device to establish a Tightening Assurance System using assembly line interlock controls.
