Overlaying A smooth phenol or UV resistant film, which is hot-pressed onto the surface, is used as an overlay. The phenol film is composed of a basic paper which is impregnated with phenol resin. The UV resistant film is impregnated with special thermosetting mixture of polymers containing amino resins. Riga Smooth Mesh have smooth wire mesh pattern imprinted in hot pressing process. On special request, panels can be overlaid with multi layer phenol film thus giving superior wear resistance of overlay. The overlaying film can be the same on both faces or it can differ.
