HERMA laser films have been developed especially for black/white and colour laser printers. With suitable colours, the surface yields good printing results with all standard printing methods. Label sheets are particularly suitable for product identification, e.g. barrel or pallet labelling. In combination with certain HERMA acrylate adhesives, this film meets the requirements according to BS5609 section 2 (seawater resistance).

The Matthews’ 10 watt and 30 watt C02 laser coding system permanently marks coated paper, plastics, rubber extrusion, and glass—making it ideal for a variety of industries. An affordable alternative to small character inkjet technologies, it cleanly marks alphanumeric text, date and time codes, serial numbers, barcodes, 2D codes and graphics.

To serialize vials and other cylindrical products, we rely on the proven quality and reliability of our labelers. In order to achieve the best possible grading of the serialisation barcodes, we integrate thermal transfer printer or marking laser units directly on the label applicator. The vision system immediately inspects the print data after the printing process. If the inspection shows a negative result, we optionally offer a label reject station which automatically removes the label from the process and therefore does not waste a „good product“. Both the vision system and the print engine are fully integrated in the touch panel HMI. Shift registers in the label applicator as well as in the complete system enable product and label tracking through the complete system.

The latest generation of color laser printers have four toning stations (CMYK). Paper passes all four stations in one cycle which enables higher print speeds. This design requires precise positioning of the belt with respect to the paper during the toning cycle. Copy / laser papers should be as flat as possible during infeed, but then very pliable while passing through the photocopier or printer. They must ensure optimal printing quality on devices from many manufacturers as well as excellent toner keying. HERMA offers you practice-oriented solutions for your individual requirements.

Typical applications for kraft papers that are coated on one side include computer labels, e.g. for continuous and sheet laser printers which require higher stiffness and better flatness. HERMA kraft papers have adhesive bond properties that ensure excellent processing on all standard flat bed and rotary die cutting machines.
