For particularly aggressive media EGE offers special materials, such as bronze, Hastelloy, titanium or even PTFE. EGE amplifier complement the EGE flow sensors without integrated amplifier. They process the signals of a measuring sensor and visualise the flow state using an LED indication. In addition, they provide switching or analogue outputs for flow and temperature to the control. The device set-up is easy and takes place using a potentiometer or the buttons on the front. The devices are installed in a control cabinet or comparable protected housing. The EGE amplifier of product series SKM 420; SKM 520; SKM 552 are suitable for supply with 24 V DC or 230/115 V AC.

The measuring sensors of the product series ST 400 Ex; STS; STEX have ATEX approval and may, dependent on their design, be used in Gas-Ex areas requiring equipment for EPL Ga or EPL Ga/Gb. In the Dust-Ex area their use is permitted up to EPLDa.

EGE amplifier for ATEX-compliant operation supply the sensors via an intrinsically safe power circuit and provide electric separation from the mains.
