New standards in CNC tool grinding The ISOG 22 complies with all requirements of the EU Machinery Directive. The maximum tool length for automatic machining has grown significantly – to over 300 mm, whereas previously it was a maximum of 180 mm HIGHLIGHTS OF ISOG 22 Vertical system The special feature of the ISOG 22: It works according to the patented vertical system, and its tool spindle is perpendicular. This means: The tool is optimally accessible from all sides. Its repeatability in the μ range is also incomparable. The extremely high flexibility also benefits from this machine concept. Stable and compact A solid base is the stable cast mineral machine stand made of polymer concrete. With its large mass, it ensures good damping. Highest radius accuracy The very small distance from the grinding point to the pivot point of the C-axis guarantees the highest radius accuracy.

The ISOG 24 is breaking new ground here: For the first time, the airflow is directed downwards – physically convincing, as gravity goes in the same direction. Thanks to the controlled airflow, there is less fogging, which gives the operator a much better view of the grinding process. The supply air flows into the machine through a long opening at the top of the cabin. The airflows are smooth and straight, with low flow velocity. The airflow and the extraction are continuously monitored in real time and the real values are displayed in the machine data. These are compared with the minimum and maximum specifications of ISOG and displayed to the operator on the screen via a message as soon as the limit range has been reached. In addition, the exhaust air system has a fire protection flap as standard.

EGE Ex-amplifier complement the EGE flow sensors without integrated amplifier. Flow sensors with approval for operation in explosive areas must be connected to approved Ex amplifier. EGE amplifier for ATEX-compliant operation supply the sensors via an intrinsically safe power circuit and provide electric separation from the mains. The amplifier itself must always be installed in areas which are not explosive.

EGE amplifier complement the EGE flow sensors without integrated amplifier. They process the signals of a measuring sensor and visualise the flow state using an LED indication. In addition, they provide switching or analogue outputs for flow and temperature to the control. The device set-up is easy and takes place using a potentiometer or the buttons on the front. The devices are installed in a control cabinet or comparable protected housing. The EGE amplifier of product series SKM 420; SKM 520; SKM 552 are suitable for supply with 24 V DC or 230/115 V AC.
