ERC Guard Kinetic supplements light heating oil with additional characteristics which optimise it for stationary engines and enables the operation of diesel CHPs with more affordable heating oil. THE EFFECT ERC Guard Kinetic was specially developed for combined heat and power plants and other stationary engines which can be operated with any type of less expensive heating oil instead of diesel. The exclusively formulated combination of active ingredients lends the heating oil the characteristics which it lacks for effective and gentle operation in diesel engines. ERC Guard Kinetic is suitable for all heating oil types with a bio share of up to 20% and improves the characteristics of standard diesel. THE EFFECT Water in the diesel, condensate water, and heat in the tank system provide conditions for the growth of bacteria, fungi, and yeast. They form bio-sludge and organic acids which lead to filter clogging and corrosion. A failure of the engine or heating system is the result. By adding grotamar ® 82, the growth of micro-organisms can be prevented. THE RESULT grotamar ® 82 quickly kills microbial pests and effectively protects against corrosion. Expensive repairs are avoided. grotamar ® 82 was also successfully tested as an initial biocide by Öl-Wärme-Institut in an oil burner pump endurance test and fulfils the criteria catalogue for heating oil (extra light) additives.

ERC Guard Bio Thermic is the first TÜV tested high-performance additive for heating oils with up to 20% bio-components. With organic combustion enhancers, can be used in all DIN heating oils. The Effect ERC Guard Bio Thermic is the first high-performance additive certified by TÜV NORD for low-sulphur heating oil with a bio share of up to 20%, combination with high sulphur heating oil (1.000 ppm sulphur) is also problem-free. ERC Flow Guard is a flow improver that burns ash-free for heating oil during winter use, and is also effective in heating oil with a bio share of up to 20 %. As a rule of thumb, a 1-mm-thick layer of soot on the boiler wall inhibits the heat transfer to the hot water to the extent that the heating oil consumption increases by approx. 4% with a consistent heat requirement. The main cause of soot is a poor and incomplete combustion of heating oil due to low oxygen levels. ERC soot guard relieves this and is simply added to the heating oil. THE EFFECT Heating oil and diesel fuel are already relatively winter-proof, but when it is very cold, the contained paraffins can separate and agglomerate. Consequently, they clog lines and filters, in which case the heating system or the engine no longer runs properly or can even shut down. THE RESULT ERC Flow Guard Premium contains so-called nucleating agents which are available in surplus in the cooling paraffin condensation cores. As a result, smaller growth crystals form instead of larger. The minuscule growth crystals can easily pass through lines and filters without causing clogging. In addition, a surface limiter envelops the paraffin crystals and keeps them in suspension. As a result, larger clumps cannot form at a later time, either.
