Chilled iron grit blasting abrasives type WIWOX® HG are produced by melting cast iron. It receives its angular shape through the subsequent atomisation and breaking. The advantage of this blasting abrasive lies in the consistently high abrasiveness, as it remains sharp-edged in the mixture and the edges do not become round. It breaks up into smaller sharp-edged and aggressive particles during the blasting process.

The Craemer grit bins are a big advantage at below zero. They are ideal for the storage of grit/salt and other gritting materials in winter service operations and suitable for many locations - from public facilities to motorways and business premises. For large drainage holes (from a diameter of about 40 mm) or in the case that the distance from the filter housing to the drain funnel is large, we recommend you an installation of our Rückspülgitter. Individual tabs from the backwash grid can removed individually. The FIBALON® – Backwash-Grid can simply insert into the funnel opening or can be attached to the tube. If it is necessary you can secure the backwash grid with a cable tie.For the best fitting of the whole vent tube, please remove all segments of the FIBALON® – Backwash-Grid.
