Gas-tight fans If the conveying medium of a fan must not be allowed to penetrate to the outside (e.g. gases that are harmful to health), our fans are equipped with a multi-chamber labyrinth seal on the shaft gland. Depending on requirements, the seals are provided with a sealing gas connection or a grease seal. Under certain circumstances the sealing gas can also be connected to the suction side of the fan. Naturally the flange connections are sealed accordingly and the fan housing is welded gas-tight and tested.

Based on the low absorption through the glass the extremely thin-walled capillaries allow the analysis of small samples sealed in a gas and moisture proof environment. According to the Debye-Scherrer method or in gerneral SAXS (small angle x-Ray scattering) and WAXS (wide angle x-Ray scattering) measurements can be made with our mark tubes, which are also named XRD capillaries. Impregnation systems to close micropores in metal castings as well as in copper, aluminium or magnesium alloy castings. The parts to be impregnated are fixed in baskets. The latter are transported by a special crane system as well as with reservoir roller conveyors. Excess material is removed by centrifuging of the baskets. The impregnating agent remaining in the pores in fluid form is hardened by heating in a hot water bath. The process sequence runs fully automatically under a microprocessor control.
