Gravimetric dosing or weight-controlled dosing is based on the principle of weighing technology. The weight of the weighed material is measured via load cells or weighing cells either directly or by loss-in-weight. IFA Technology offers you specific solutions tailored to your individual needs for weighing, mixing and dosing solids or liquids. We consider your individual requirements and build customised dosing systems for you. The system "IFA-Gravimet" is our standard system in the field of gravimetric dosing. We supply a complete, ready-to-operate pre-assembled weighing, mixing and dosing system. As a complete system for weighing, mixing and dosing liquids, the system can be individually customised to suit your requirements.

SAVEOMAT Satellite is the innovative vacuum conveying system in which the suction capacity can be split as required. The valve technology on the vacuum manifold allows the power to be split between different material separators. A control of the applied vacuum ensures a constant vacuum during material conveying and guarantees a delay-free material supply. Complete extrusion lines or entire production halls can thus be supplied via a single or several vacuum generators connected in parallel. The suction power is applied as needed for each individual component, ensuring careful feeding, even of critical materials. The flexibly combinable dosing station allows the exact blending of up to seven material components. Two configuration levels are available the DOS 2 (one main and one side component) and the DOS 7 (one main and up to six side components). Dosing is carried out according to customer-specific requirements. The processing of granules and powder is also possible. The dosing station can be flexibly equipped with different funnel weighers and thus fulfills the most demanding processes of gravimetric weighing. Common applications include film extrusion or PVC pipe production with complex formulations. SAVEOMAT Liquid is the multi-component dosing station for the recipe-precise dosing of solid and liquid components. The use of silane and peroxide is especially applied in PEXa and PEXb pipe extrusion and cable production. Precise mixing of the raw material is achieved by combining a static and a dynamic mixer. An injection tube is integrated in the dynamic mixer, whereby the peroxide or silane is introduced and ensures uniform wetting. Thanks to its safety features, SAVEOMAT Liquid meets the highest safety requirements while allowing a wide range of recipes. ULTRABLEND medical is a gravimetric batch dosing and mixing station for plastic granules, additives, and regrind. It has been specially designed for pharmaceutical and medical technology applications. The high dosing accuracy and consistency of the ULTRABLEND improves end product quality and saves money by using less additives and reducing scrap. The ULTRABLEND is suitable for direct mounting on small injection moulding machines and extruders. All components are accurately dosed and weighed one after another into a weigh hopper. They are then passed to the mixing chamber where they are homogeneously mixed.

With the volumetric dosing and mixing station SPECTROCOLOR V, motan offers a simple solution for the economic production of plastics parts: precise dosing and homogeneous mixing with highest repeatability. Our unique gravity-mixing principle offers you a high consistency of mix for all the components before they reach the extruder. This plays a key role in guaranteeing you perfect plasticization and homogenization of the materials. SPECTROCOLOR V doses and mixes all easy to normal flowing granular materials. Up to six dosing modules, supports both flood-fed and starve-fed extrusion.
