KLN has created a machine series for precise parts cleaning with aqueous and organic cleaning agents. This series meets the requirements of the various industrial branches in the cleaning technology. Like in a modular construction system the components can be put together in any combination for a machine. This gives a maximum flexibility in the process technology. One of the advantages which distinguishes the thermal riveting procedure from other assembly techniques is the safe form-fit. Another advantage: the thermoplastic cannot embrittle as in the case of ultrasonic welding. Apart from the well-established welding techniques for plastic parts in series, KLN Ultraschall AG also develops and produces in Heppenheim equipment for thermal riveting. This technique is still regarded as a very special procedure and has important advantages in comparison with ultrasonic, hot plate, vibration or spin welding. Thus it can be interesting for additional fields of application. This procedure is particularly applied for plastic parts having safety features. In contrast to the ultrasonic riveting, the thermal riveting can be applied without any problems for plate/ plastic assemblies, as no swinging tools are touching the plates which could endanger the assembly.

With the METROFLOW gravimetric material loader, plastic processors can automate important areas of the production process cost-effectively and efficiently. The METROFLOW weighs every single load and evaluates the results, with a guaranteed precision of <1%. This improves the entire material management process and allows for full traceability. The material loaders come in 6, 10 and 30 liter volumes.
