ABB repair, exchange & replacement parts for ABB IRC5 & S4 Pendants Since the start of 2018, we also supply reconditioned repairs as well as exchange and replacement parts for handheld robot control panels from the IRC5, IRC5P, S4, S4+, S4C+, S4P and S4P+ product ranges manufactured by ABB. During the repair process, we ensure that components that are better than the manufacturer's are installed in addition to the manufacturer's original parts. As a preventative measure we also replace any components that are subject to ageing or use related wear. In addition to using components approved by the manufacturer or legislator, we test the reconditioned ABB handheld control panels with original IRB ABB robots under conditions that correspond to the actual working environment. With the GESIPA® FireRex® it is possible for the first time to set huge numbers of blind rivet nuts fast and fully automatically. Since neither a camera nor any kind of optical device, which are usually dust-prone, are necessary to find the drilled hole, the system allows stable operation even in adverse production environments without requiring huge maintenance efforts. The setting tool can also be integrated into already existing production systems without a problem, thus allowing to make the systems more economical. Also available as FireRex® 2 C WinTech with setting process monitoring.

The PAE range is an innovative new generation of pallet labellers that can label pallets on up to three sides with either pneumatic and/or electric traversing axles. The labels are printed with individual data in real time immediately before dispensing. The series is designed to integrate thermal transfer printing modules from different manufacturers. Automatic height adjustments are available as an option in order to Application heights on the pallet to start up. The complete traceability of products is essential nowadays, which is why interest in intelligent pallet labelling processes is so high. The system can handle label formats up to DIN A4 format, enabling product labelling according to the global GS1 standards.

Water and dust protected SCARA robots SCARA robots are also a popular option for small robotic assembly applications in harsh environments with suspended dust, moisture or water spray. IAI offers water and dust protected SCARA robots with 24 V stepper motor or 230 V servo motor. They can be used without further construction measures. The danger of leakage is not given here. One reason for the uncomplicated installation without the need for additional aggregates are their flexibility and the small footprint, which reduces the cost and time required for commissioning.

SCARA Robot in Cleanroom-compatible Design IAI offers compact and powerful SCARA robots in cleanroom-ready design according to ISO standard 14644-1:2015. They are a popular option for small robotic assembly applications. These robots generate minimal dust, making them ideal for use in a cleanroom environment. The air inside the robot can be exhausted to create a negative pressure when ISO cleanroom class 3 conditions must be met.

SCARA robots are often used for the fast removal and movement of workpieces, smaller assembly applications such as screwing in screws, and for the precise dosing of liquids, adhesives and sealants. IAI offers a wide range of models, from the low-cost entry model IXP to the latest IXA high-performance SCARA robot.

IAI Industrial Robots is one of the leading manufacturers of electric actuators and industrial robots. In addition to catalogue products, we also offer customised products and special developments. Actuators from IAI can be easily connected to automation applications and integrated into production lines in all industries. The controllers can be connected to the higher-level controller via digital I/Os or via fieldbus systems such as Profinet, Profibus, CC-Link, DeviceNet, EtherCat, EtherNet, Modbus and many more.

IAI's new controller series: R-Unit R-Unit is the new generation of controllers that are coupled via module connections and are modularly interchangeable. These include the RSEL program controller for connecting up to 8 actuators (in combination with the REC EC control up to 16 actuators), the RCON position controller for up to 16 electric cylinders and the REC EC controller for motion control of up to 16 EleCylinder axes. Common to all of them are the linkable control units with identical connections, which allow a free selection and combination of connected electric actuators and their control methods. Mixed control of electric cylinders with 24 volt and 230 volt motors is also easily feasible.

Cartesian robots can be adapted very well to the respective application conditions due to their modularity. They also take up less space than 6 axis robots, for example, because they only have the functionalities that are actually needed. IAI offers rectangular robot as 2-6 axis combinations with 230 V servo motor in hundreds of configurations as standard or precision types. An equally comprehensive portfolio of cost-effective Cartesian RoboCylinders is available. There are 396 possible combinations for them, including cable chain selection even 7056.

Tabletop robots from IAI are precise positioning and assembly platforms with working areas between 200 x 200 mm and 500 x 500 mm.
