At Befort, spherical precision optics pass through the hands of qualified specialists. They work with a sure instinct and stateoftheart technology. The machine processing of each surface is done on CNC grinding and polishing machines. We produce spherical precision lenses from optical glass, quartz glass and radiationresistant materials with diameters from 3 mm to 130 mm and a curvature radius from 1.18 mm to plane. We make individual lens elements, achromatic systems, concave mirrors, cylinder lenses and other precisely fitting glass geometries to suit your specific application.

The 6, 8 and 10fold Befort magnifiers have been THE magnifiers for precise reading for 30 years. All measuring magnifiers have metal engraved scales. The measuring plates are manufactured and surfacetreated individually using a special process. This timeconsuming precise manufacturing guarantees parallaxfree reading when the magnifier is directly positioned on the object to be measured.

Optics are rarely standalone components. They frequently need a casing, a carrier or even complex integration into a system. This is the exact specialty of our Mechanical Engineering department. We put our mechanical production skills in the service of optomechanical and even purely mechanical customer applications. We manufacture nonferrous metal, noncorroding machininggrade steel and plastic components and produce highprecision mechanical subassemblies as well as unmounted turned and milled parts in small and medium quantities. Our tried and trusted holder model is available with one or two legs, with fixed or adjustable carbon brushes, in metal or – as a special version – in plastic. Together we can develop the individual version that meets your requirements. As with most MACK products: We do everything ourselves, and only in our own facilities – from the production of the main parts to the completion of all assembly work. This is how we can guarantee you maximum precision and process security.

Our high-precision glass beads are usually made of soda glass or borosilicate glass, but on request we can also supply quartz glass, sapphire glass or optical glasses. The standard tolerance is ± 0,02 mm. Without surcharge, the surfaces can be supplied matt or polished. You need even higher precision? No problem: We can also supply customized glass beads with tolerances of ± 0,01 and ± 0,005 mm. Precision glass beads

The portal and multitasking machines of the P series offer maximum precision and flexibility for machining large, complex and high-precision workpieces. Outstandingly suitable for machining prismatic and cubic workpieces in a single set-up and mounting position. An extremely heavy cast iron design with optimum damping properties and the INA linear guiding system equipped with hydro mechanical damping slides provide the basis for the ultra-modern table and gantry design portal machines. Floor type milling machines stand for flexibility, productivity, and maximum precision. All machines are hallmarked by optimum rigidity and dynamics and offer maximum productivity. The machine design guarantees optimum interaction between operator and machine. Examples of applications include pressure switches or thermostats: Deep-drawing techniques to manufacture seamless tubing up to 50mm ID and 450mm length - in wall-thicknesses as low as 0,064mm. Based on this, our smalles precision bellows start with only 6X4,2mm. Mainly requested with individual bottom shape, they are performing as reliable force transmitters.
