The high-accuracy lift tables (stages) are used where elements have to be positioned with high accuracy. With flexible adaptor plates, they fit seamlessly into UHL's modular component system. With recurring assembly dimensions, the lift tables likewise the rotary and swivel stages allow diversification when combining with other UHL's positioning systems. Backlash-free pre-loaded roll bearing guarantees a high sequence accuracy. A stepper motor and multiple threads (HT4) or 2 opposed-running wedges (HT7) are used as standard drive for the stroke. Mounting bore holes are available for the assembly of holding fixtures in the upper plate.

The PDL model series for labeling Petri dishes from our special machine construction provides filled and sealed Petri dishes with a serialized DMC label in the minimum tolerance range at an output of 130 products/min. The system combines mechanical engineering, label material and thermal transfer printer. The Petri dishes from the previous filling/capping line are fed to the labeling system. By means of a clock star, the system transports the products through the various stations, such as labeling, the press-on unit and DMC inspection, where the grading (quality control) of the data matrix code takes place at the same time. In case of insufficient quality of the barcode, the product is ejected. By using our label dispenser RAPID SM we guarantee an accuracy of +-0.2 mm at a labeling speed of 60 m/min while maintaining the product quality. The signals are switched directly into the stepper motor card developed by us.

To meet the wide range of requirements in terms of mass moment of inertia, lead and payload, there is a comprehensive range of rotary acutators from the RCP2 and EleCylinder series with 24V stepper motor and the RCS2 series with 230 Vservo motor. RCP6 rotary grippers, which combine motorized rotating and gripping in one unit, complete the product range.

Water and dust protected SCARA robots SCARA robots are also a popular option for small robotic assembly applications in harsh environments with suspended dust, moisture or water spray. IAI offers water and dust protected SCARA robots with 24 V stepper motor or 230 V servo motor. They can be used without further construction measures. The danger of leakage is not given here. One reason for the uncomplicated installation without the need for additional aggregates are their flexibility and the small footprint, which reduces the cost and time required for commissioning.

The linear rod type actuators from the RoboCylinder series are available with 24V stepper motor, 24V servo motor or 230V servo motor. They are characterized by their compact design, mechanical stability and high positioning accuracy of up to ± 5 μm. The linear actuators are available in two design variants: As a directly driven rod type with motor in extension of the cylinder longitudinal axis and as a shorter variant with deflection, in which the motor and axis are parallel to each other. Both variants are also suitable as heavy-duty electric actuators for high payloads. In addition to the standard version, many linear actuators are also available as cleanroom versions and for special environmental conditions also as dustproof, splashproof or waterproof models with IP54 to IP67 protection.

Electric linear actuators from IAI are available as rod, slider and slide table types as well as with toothed belt drive. They are equipped with a stepper motor or servo motor and often already have a battery-free absolute encoder as standard. On request, they can also be supplied without an electric drive unit.
