IAI's product range includes a wide selection of programmable gripping solutions for pick-and-place automation systems. They offer three functions in one: gripping, measuring and testing. Compared to pneumatic grippers, electric grippers do not require air lines, operate much quieter and save energy and maintenance. They are also better suited to holding workpieces.

Furthermore, the sealed construction also allows the unit to be used, for example, in vertical and horizontal directions (in lateral position), i.e. in the mounting forms that were previously only possible to a limited extent.
