Open weld heads are clamped on one side of the weld joint. During welding, the gas- or water-cooled torch with hose package rotates around the tube. An idle cut blade head with automatic cutting gap adjustment ensures that the Weber Slicer 604 has a high yield with minimum giveaway. The product throat can be adjusted automatically in height and width, and the fully automatic central loading unit ensures rapid product changes. Products up to 1,700 mm in length are fed in automatically and processed at up to 600 slices per minute. The shear bar and side limit stop can be configured by motor and with programme control. That allows the Weber Slicer 604 to guarantee a precise cut and placement of perfect slices continuously. The angle head 90° is designed for use in very narrow and confined spaces. The rugged design makes it possible to set blind rivets with a high setting force even in working areas that are difficult to access. The angle head 90° can set standard blind rivets with a diameter up to 6.4 mm in all materials and 8 mm in aluminium with a setting force up to 20 kN. The smallest edge distance is 15 mm, the head length 110 mm. The 17/45 WK nosepiece is included in the scope of delivery as standard. Nosepieces from 17/18 to 17/40 can also be used with the angle head 90°; however, this depends on the working range of the respective tool type (AccuBird® Pro, PowerBird® Pro or PowerBird® Pro Gold Edition). Our latest series of 3 gas-cooled weld heads technical optimized and in an new design covers the tube size ranges from 6mm – 114.3mm / 0.250” - 4.500”. Unique construction and material selection allows a high duty cycle even without water cooling. The weld heads are one of the narrowest on the market and have a ‘quick latch’ system for retaining the collets. For the high duty cycle applications we also offer the gas-cooled S series weld heads in a water-cooled SW-version (the overall width remains unchanged). With tube-to-tubesheet weld heads, it is possible to achieve consistently high-quality, reproducible welding of tubes to tubesheets, with or without additional wire. The tubes to be welded can be flush with the tubesheet, offset, protruding or behind the tubesheet. The RBK 38 S and the RBK 60 S are our two new tube-to-tubesheet weld heads. The RBK 38 S is a small, handy water-cooled head for welding tubes to tubesheets up to an ID of 36.7 mm, without additional wire. The RBK 60 S is an extremely robust water-cooled weld head for a standard heat exchanger application up to an ID of 60 mm, modified to an ID of 99 mm or 120 mm. The head is pneumatically centred and is available with a rotating wire device and/ or arc voltage control (AVC) as an option. The head can also be used with a pneumatic positioner instead of a balancer. VersaSolder uses selective laser soldering for applications where other methods fail. A laser beam heats an area without impacting the surrounding the key advantage of this non-contact joining technique.A lens assembly focuses the laser power which melts the solder onto the working area. It is tailored exactly to the specific shape of the solder joint and the beam may be circular, elliptic or a straight line. An optional pyrometer measures the temperature in the melt pot and the electronic actively regulates the power profile. Multiple solder heads heat various areas at the same time and a symmetrical arrangement reduces shift. In order to achieve higher productivity, nanosystec developed the Multi Beam Optic (MBO). It generates a number of sub beams processing more than one connection in the same time – up to 40 individual spots have been demonstrated.
