The METRO SG HES range of single-phase material loaders enable processors to automate a key area of the production process cost effectively, bringing significant benefits for process management. Plastic granulate is conveyed quickly and cleanly to a processing machine hopper, a drying bin or a day bin as needed. The material loader is equipped with its own control, so that it recognizes when material is needed and automatically starts conveying. This keeps machines running and avoids costly downtime while eliminating material wastage, keeping the workspace clean and safe. The METRO SG HES range can handle throughputs of 15 to 200 kg/h.

METRO SG HOS system material loaders can automate important areas of the production process cost-effectively and efficiently. Virgin and regrind material is conveyed quickly and cleanly to the hopper of a processing machine, a drying bin or a dosing and mixing unit. Material is delivered exactly when needed keeping machines running and avoiding costly downtime. Material wastage is eliminated and the work-space is kept clean and safe.

The stations are supplied with a three-phase blower which is low-noise and maintenance-free. They also include a cyclone dust filter with dust collection bin and a PLC control for up to eight METRO SG HOS material loaders, eight METROMIX proportioning vales and four line-purging valves.

The three-phase conveying station can be used for a wide range of central conveying applications with a large choice of blower sizes. The three-phase blower is low-noise and maintenance-free. The station is available with a blower protection filter or optionally a cyclone dust filter with collection bin. The integrated VAC swift control is equipped with a 7“colour display which can operate up to 8 METRO swift HOS material loaders and up to 8 purging valves.

Cost-effective and efficient material conveying can be realized with METRO swift HOS material loaders. This improves the overall process management of your system. The plastic granules are transported quickly and cleanly into hoppers, drying bin or other dosing and mixing units and fed to the machine as required. n the micro and micro-drive sector, IAI offers small mini slider types that easily replace pneumatic cylinders due to their identical design and simple control mode. They are suitable for mounting fixtures, workpiece positioning, table motion and many other applications. In the RCP3 series, the smallest models are available as a slider types with sliding spindle. The latest developments are the space-saving mini slider types of the RCA2 series with 24 V servo motor.

Actuators from IAI can be easily connected to automation applications and integrated into production lines in all industries. The controllers can be connected to the higher-level controller via digital I/Os or via fieldbus systems such as Profinet, Profibus, CC-Link, DeviceNet, EtherCat, EtherNet, Modbus and many more.

The linear rod type actuators from the RoboCylinder series are available with 24V stepper motor, 24V servo motor or 230V servo motor. They are characterized by their compact design, mechanical stability and high positioning accuracy of up to ± 5 μm. The linear actuators are available in two design variants: As a directly driven rod type with motor in extension of the cylinder longitudinal axis and as a shorter variant with deflection, in which the motor and axis are parallel to each other. Both variants are also suitable as heavy-duty electric actuators for high payloads. In addition to the standard version, many linear actuators are also available as cleanroom versions and for special environmental conditions also as dustproof, splashproof or waterproof models with IP54 to IP67 protection.

Electric linear actuators from IAI are available as rod, slider and slide table types as well as with toothed belt drive. They are equipped with a stepper motor or servo motor and often already have a battery-free absolute encoder as standard. On request, they can also be supplied without an electric drive unit. The product range of linear actuators consists of the RoboCylinder series, which are characterised by high user-friendliness, simple programming as well as compact design. Their focus is on covering common customer requirements and are therefore relatively inexpensive. Electric slider type actuators and axes with toothed belt drive from the IntelligentActuators product line complete the product portfolio. They meet higher requirements than RoboCylinders in terms of payload, speed, acceleration and precision.

Micro Cylinder with only 14 mm Cross-section The ultra-compact RCD micro cylinder is a rod type with a length of only 52 to 72 mm and a width of only 12 mm. The motor-driven micro cylinder is designed for applications with low load and power requirements. It can be used for short strokes, press mounting, lifting and lowering and many other applications. The micro linear cylinder with 24 VDC miniature motor for a maximum payload of 0.7 kg is available for stroke lengths of 10, 20 and 30 mm. The small 2.5 W motor has a rated thrust of 4.2 N and a speed of up to 300 mm/s at an acceleration of up to 9.81 m/s.
