Finest quality surface polishing is vital in plane optic production. At Befort, this has top priority from production all the way to final inspection. Thanks to sophisticated CNC technology, we are able to produce single planeoptic components as well as multifunctional systems. We process optical glass, filter glass, quartz glass and float glass up to a size of 600 mm diameter. We make filters, groundglass screens, plane mirrors, windows with a plane parallel surface contour and realize customized solutions for specific applications. In our test laboratory we measure machined surfaces with an interferometer to be able to guarantee top optical quality! No lens element leaves our factory before it meets the exact specifications and requirements of the customer

With our component system, consisting of tube elements, control elements, eyepieces and cameras, objectives and connecting elements, a large variety of attachment microscopes for all different kind of applications and requirements can be designed.

The control elements are equipped with dovetail guides ("hard-slide" coating) or cross roller guides and are rack & pinion, micrometer or worm driven. They have minimized backlash and a straightness accuracy within a few microns. The control elements can be equipped with one or two knobs or without any knob. Multi-axle systems can be built up using the control elements and corresponding connection elements. An intermediate plate (B40-RP) is required to attach the tube elements.

Depending on the multiplex rate we have designed several models in STN and FSTN technology. For the backlight we use LED, EL or CCFL depending on type of color, quality, lifetime and price. Different kind of technologies are possible: COB is available for most modules using backlight. COG is recommended for applications where space is limited. Most of our modules operate within the wide temperature range (-20°C to +70°C) without negative voltage. A contrast-voltage of ~ 4,5 Volt is required (against Vdd). The twist of 240° results in excellent contrast and improved viewing cone. We use a 16pin version PCB with optional pins for the LED-backlight (A/K). Our modules have LED-limit-resistances already on board. These resistors can be changed or bridged easily. If neccessary, the power consumption and brightness can be optimized as per customer's request. The metal bezel is set on ground. If neccessary, our PCB is prepared for disconnection. Most of our LCD-panels operate within the wide temperature range (-20°C to +70°C). For the static types the Vlcd is ready for 3Volt. For most of our MUX-displays, we offer a 3Volt and a 5Volt model. Most LCD-panels are available in reflective and transflective version. In general, we offer a standard pinlength, but for the highrunners we also have different pinlengths from stock. Please ask us in case you want a different pinlength. For the LCD-panels without pins, we also offer elastomeric connectors (zebras). We offer a range of 7-Segment-Modules (Digital-Modules) with integrated driver IC. Some of these products are ready for use as a full operating voltmeter. You can also use these products for different purposes as a "Multirange Measurement Instrument". Where to use deva.bm/9P deva.bm ®/9P is a self-lubricating bi-metal sliding material. The sliding layer is applied to the stainless steel back in a combined rolling/sintering process. The lubricant in deva.bm ®/9P is microscopically distributed PTFE which leads to significantly reduced friction and wear figures. deva.bm ®/9P is the optimum material for p>25 N/mm² and has its best performance at slow speeds and intermittent service.
