The VARTA emergency power box enables consumers to be installed quickly and easily for the VARTA element S5 backup systems. The emergency power box is optional and up to 3 consumers can be plugged in, which continue to work even in the event of a power failure.

Using armored plate technology, the sun | power V L battery is perfectly suited for cyclic applications. It's typical applications are village power supply, hybrid systems, mobile phone stations, security lighting, peak shaving and emergency power supply. By using the HOPPECKE sun | air electrolyte circulation system, the battery can be charged faster and more gently.

The sun | power VR L valve regulated lead acid batteries are specially designed for high energy throughputs and are ideally suited for cyclic applications. They are characterized by excellent cycling properties during operation with partial discharge (Partial State of Charge - PSoC). In conjunction with the extensive capacity range, they are the battery of choice for village power supply. Other typical applications include emergency power supply, security lighting and grid services. The proven format according to DIN 40742 and the possibility of horizontal operation make the sun | power VR L battery versatile and furthermore provide the necessary flexibility for optimal space utilization.

CSN® PreHeater consists of one or more CSN® Flow Heaters, which are equipped with a valve and a pump, as well as standalone controller.Combustion engines requiring immediate operational readiness must be preheated before starting. The wellknown cold start problems are eliminated and the engine can be operated at full load from the beginning. Furthermore, cold start wear is considerably reduced. The ICE 4, which was jointly developed by Siemens and Bombardier, is fitted with GRP door supports from TC. The door supports are installed immediately above the sliding doors. The 14 different types of door support are based on a GRP pultruded profile. The door support is a highly complex component which TC has once again been about to demonstrate its performance as a systems supplier. It consists of different aluminium profiles, brackets for the power supply and emergency brake, and infrared sensors. In addition, many door supports are fitted with a lockable flap and toilet ‘occupied’ displays. All of the adhesive bonds on the door support meet the requirements of DIN 6701. The entire door support is painted in two colours.

The UPS comes with USB & RS232 interface and provides a capacity of 13.5kJ in up to 500,000 cycles. Extended functionality is available via the UPSGen2 configuration software.

Another area of application is large data centres, where the unrestricted and uninterrupted availability of electricity must be guaranteed. Gensets ensure the power supply in any situation, even under extreme conditions. Our genset gearboxes are connected between the motor and the generator, so that a frequency adjustment for the required power grid is achieved. It is possible to adjust the frequency from 50Hz to 60Hz as well as from 60Hz to 50Hz. The speed transmission is highly efficient, as the single-stage spur gears guarantee a high efficiency of >99%. The use of a labyrinth sealing system also means that the drives require very low maintenance.
