The “casing” sector for the electro and electronics industry was developed as a result of demand from the lighting industry for transformer housing for NV lights. Here we can emphasise our housings for electronic mounting devices. Individual customer requirements can be realized cost-efficiently by using insert adapters. Other products for the electrical industry are connectors, strain relief and cable fastening.

Versatile choice due to the high torque and speed. This motor is the best choice for most applications with medium loads. Stepper motors from igus® are a good supplement to drylin® linear axes. They are characterised by their cost-effectiveness, their precision and easy control. They work reliably under the most varied environmental conditions (depending on the selected class of protection IP). The igus® stepper motors can be connected to the most common motor controls using standardised electrical connection. The connector interface provides a high IP65 protection level (IP: International Protection). The higher the IP rating, the better the motor is protected from the ingress of dirt and water. The encoder sends signals from the motor to the motor control. The encoder verifies that the required linear motion has occurred precisely as required. Encoder = increased machine accuracy.

The Profinet interface according to IEC 61158 / 61784 or PNO specifications order No. 2.712 and 2.722, version 2.2, is integrated into the model series TRT absolute encoders. Real time classes 1 - 3 are supported, i.e. Real Time (RT) and Isochronous Real Time (IRT) plus the requirements of conformance class C. Setting the address, baud rate or terminating resistances is not necessary. A name, which is stored in the absolute encoder's non-volatile memory, is assigned via the PROFINET controller to address the device.

Use of the CANopen over EtherCAT message and the CANopen encoder profile enable parameter and diagnostic data handling as familiar from CANopen. These are contained in an object directory under the same indices as in the case of CANopen.
