The linear movement of a flexible steel cable, which can have a length of up to 2 m, is converted into an angular movement with the aid of a measuring drum. The measuring drum is coupled via a gear to a conductive plastic potentiometer. The restoring force of the spring drive holds the measuring cable tight at all times and prevents any sagging which would otherwise induce an error. The measuring drum moves axially on a spindle ensuring that the cable is wound up precisely and reproducibly wrap for wrap in the helical groove of the drum. The BIOCATDUOscrubber from WesselUmwelttechnik consists of two units. One unit is the already mentioned BIOCATscrubber. A second unit, the DLP (Dust Low Pressure) scrubber stage, is a cleaning stage for separating dust and fine fibres from the exhaust air. Static Combi Cleaner SCC is a highly effective ionizing blowing station for contact-free removal of undesirable dust and dirt deposits on three-dimensional or structured surfaces. Dust removal devices remove adhering dust particles from the workpieces by means of rotating blowing nozzles. The application of CO 2 ice jet spraying is convincing. Ranging between CO 2 cleaning and high-performance dust removal with regard to quality, optimum pretreatment can be accomplished with this system variant, only requiring simple workpiece fixing and little noise protection measures. DUST FREE can be flexibly integrated in existing equipment. A cleaning jet consisting of a mix of compressed air, CO2 and CO2 ice particles causes the soiling on the surface to become brittle. The thermal tension loosens cohesion and detaches the soiling from the workpiece surface. The cleaning jet guarantees the removal of soiling without residue.
