Practical system push fittings with safe and innovative lock function from copper alloys for use in a system with SANHA MultiFit®-Flex and MultiFit®-PEX multi layer plastic tubes for hygienic drinking water and reliable heating installations.  Due to their sophisticated construction, SANHA system push fittings offer an especially safe and durable connection and are just as tight as press fittings. The push connection is easy to make and has the distinct advantage that no tools are required. In this way, using 3fit®-Push fittings incurs no cost for buying, repairing or maintenance of press machines. 3fit®-Push system fittings are ideally suited in narrow spaces where it might be difficult to press fittings with jaws or slings such as during the renovation of buildings.

Threaded brass fittings (material no. CW617N, composition CuZn40Pb2) are well-suited for the use in a wide range of applications such as heating, rain water or water /glycole mixtures (or similar water with frost protection additives). Threaded brass fittings are durable and easy to install and have a high Brinell hardness for increased corrosion protection. Our programme of threaded brass fittings also includes brass extensions. The wide range of different threaded brass fitting dimensions from ¼“ up to 2 1/2“ as well as several different chromed versions off installers the option of finding the right fitting for the application in question. Even though brass fittings are allowed for drinking water installations in many countries, we recommend the use of our lead-free series for this application.

SANHA produces capillary fittings of the series PURAFIT® - just like our press fittings PURAPRESS® - from the completely lead-free premium material silicon bronze CuSi. This copper alloy is optimally adapted for the use in drinking water systems as it fulfills the strict legal requirements of the Drinking Water Directive. The European Drinking Water Directive 98/83/EC describes water as our most important good and thus highlights the importance of its protection. Drinking water is of high value as it has a direct impact on human health. For drinking water installations, that means that planning, construction and operation of a drinking water system should not cause illnesses due to mistakes or errors. A regular test for drinking water is prescribed in the Directive 98/83/EC. To avoid the backflow of materials up to category 4 into the drinking water installation, the backflow preventer BA (acc. to DIN EN 1717 a “backflow preventer with a controllable middle pression area”) is used as an approved safety device.
