With the volumetric dosing and mixing station SPECTROCOLOR V, motan offers a simple solution for the economic production of plastics parts: precise dosing and homogeneous mixing with highest repeatability. Our unique gravity-mixing principle offers you a high consistency of mix for all the components before they reach the extruder. This plays a key role in guaranteeing you perfect plasticization and homogenization of the materials. SPECTROCOLOR V doses and mixes all easy to normal flowing granular materials. Up to six dosing modules, supports both flood-fed and starve-fed extrusion.

ULTRABLEND medical is a gravimetric batch dosing and mixing station for plastic granules, additives, and regrind. It has been specially designed for pharmaceutical and medical technology applications. The high dosing accuracy and consistency of the ULTRABLEND improves end product quality and saves money by using less additives and reducing scrap. The ULTRABLEND is suitable for direct mounting on small injection moulding machines and extruders. All components are accurately dosed and weighed one after another into a weigh hopper. They are then passed to the mixing chamber where they are homogeneously mixed.

For many dosing applications, it is necessary to homogeneously mix different materials of varying bulk densities and flow characteristics. The mixer module 2l is designed for mounting under a dosing unit, where it will mechanically mix, for example a powder additive with virgin material. The ViscoDuo-VM 2-component dispenser is a valveless dosing system for static mixing based on the proven progressive cavity technology and thanks to its purely volumetric precise dosing principle, is ideally suited for high-precision dosing tasks. Built according to modular structure, a configuration of the 2-component dosing systems as well as maintenance and part exchange at module level is possible. The material components are mixed downstream of the mixing head only in the mixing tube to prevent material hardening in the system components of the mixing head. SOMOS® Volmix from ProTec is a highly accurate volumetric dosing and mixing system. Volmix stands for VOLumetric dosing and MIXing. The system supplies injection molding machines as well as extruders or blow molding machines with throughputs of up to 2,500 kg/h. A high-accuracy small-volume dosing unit for regrind for a throughput as low as 150 g/h is available as an option.

In order to avoid chemical reactions such as curing or crystallization during the dosing process, any contact with metal in the area in contact with the material in the dispenser was avoided. The materials used have been carefully selected: On the one hand with regard to chemical resistance to adhesives and other fluids and on the other hand with regard to highest resistance to physical wear by abrasive media. The eco-PEN330 precision volume dispenser made by ViscoTec enables many applications in the low to high viscosity dispensing range. The preeflow® eco-PEN is a rotating, absolutely pressure-tight displacement system consisting of a self-sealing rotor and stator. The controlled rotary movement of the rotor generates the flow by displacing the medium in the stator. Pumping without changing the medium is guaranteed. FUNCTIONAL PRINCIPLE The SOMOS® Gramix TwinDos dosing system supplies twin screw extruders in the "underfed" mode required for such extruders. Optimized hardware and control software ensure extremely short system response times, the weighing electronics operating with 24 bit signal resolution.
