Electric duct heater Electrical duct heater type “LEH-R” are intended for the heating of gaseous media. The main applications are the heating of air in ventilation - / air conditioning or heat-recovery installations. Wide use areas are applications of the process - / environment-technology i.e. at the catalytic afterburning of exhaust fumes or drying ovens or in the plastic - / textile or paper industry. Explosionproof/flameproof gas preheater EEx d -ATEX und IECEx zertifiziert In general a cooling down takes place at expansion of gases whilst a heating takes place at compression. Typical gases are carbon monoxide, natural gas and air. The temperature change, which occurs at expansion of gas or gas mixture from a high to low pressure i.e. after a gas pressure control is called Joule-Thomson effect. In order to prevent the effects of Joule-Thomson as icing or condensate separation, the gas will be heated up before expansion. The gas pre heaters are suitable for all kind of gaseous media (i.e. air, natural gas, technical gases, fuel gas) and low flow process applications, suitable for pressures up to 300 bar. The “Cast electric heaters” type flameproof electrical gas pre heaters are certified for use in zone 1 or 2 hazardous area, custom built to meet client specification. The gas pre heater consists of a process tube coil and an electrical heating bundle, casted in aluminium. The process gas flows through the tube coil and is heated by the aluminium block that provides the heat transfer. This indirect electric heating gives an accurate control of the process and eliminates pressure vessel design and associated costs.

Electrical process flow heaters The “STR-TWIN type electrical heater comprise a large range of process flow heaters for industrial application custom built to meet client specification. Due to the small diameter construction of the vessel it is perfectly suitable for low volume or mass flow. These heaters are supplied CE marked in acc. the latest CENELEC requirements or manufactured to the latest IEC standards. Typical electric process heaters applications include heating of liquids i.e. heat transfer oil or fuel oil, glycol reboilers and water heaters and heating of pressurized gases i.e. pressurized air, superheated water steam, nitrogen or other compositions of gases. Thyristor control systems are also designed and supplied by OhmEx to control the range of electric process heaters. Electrical process flow heaters The “STR type electrical process flow heater comprise a large range for industrial application custom built to meet client specification. These heaters are supplied CE marked in acc. the latest CENELEC requirements or manufactured to the latest IEC standards. Typical electric process heaters applications include heating of liquids i.e. heat transfer oil or fuel oil, glycol reboilers and water heaters and heating of pressurized gases i.e. pressurized air, superheated water steam, nitrogen or other compositions of gases.

Electrical flange type immersion heaters The series of electrical Flange Type FHK-L provides a solution for the heating of liquids / molten salts or similar applications in process tanks or underground tanks. It can also be tank filling levels with very low heat, since only the lower horizontal portion is heated. The flange heater consists of a number of heating elements, which are built into the process flange. The electrical wiring is done in a robust electrical terminal box.

EEx’e‘ certified immersion heater EEx e T1 – T6 ATEX The “FHK-Exe” type electric immersion heaters are EExe certified. These heaters are custom built to meet client specifications and suitable for use in zone 1 & 2 hazardous areas. The range of immersion heaters type FHK-Exe offers an economic heating solution for process tanks, pressure vessels and similar plant. The standard heater consists of a number of rod elements TIG welded into a process flange. A robust Ex’e’ terminal box protects the electrical connections. The number of elements fitted depends upon the media to be heated and the kilowatt rating required. Dependent on application, the heater can be provided with temperature control by contactor or thyristor.

Flameproof mini line heaters ATEX Ex II 2 G Ex’d’ IIC T4-T6 nach EN60079-0 und EN60079-1 The Exheat range of flameproof mini line heaters consist of a screw plug or flanged type immersion heater mounted in a thermally insulated heating vessel. They are designed to efficiently transfer heat to a flowing medium (liquid, air or gas). All flameproof heaters are fully ATEX certified and designed for use in zone 1 & 2 hazardous areas, gas group IIC.

Flameproof unit air heater ATEX EEx d IIC T3 ATEX The „FUH“ range of flameproof electrical unit air heaters offer a hazardous area, space heating solution, for large premises requiring high heating capacity. They are certified for zone 1 or 2 areas, where the flammable atmosphere is a group IIA, IIB or IIC gas. This heater has an internal fan.
