The 3D data of the optical design is transferred via an interface to the 3D CAD Product Design Program Inventor and with the support of Inventor the fitting mechanical solution is developed

The IF2035 interface modules are designed for easy connection of Micro-Epsilon sensors to Industrial Ethernet controllers, e.g., plant control systems. The PROFINET and EthernetIP modules are compatible with sensors that output data via an RS422 or RS485 interface. These modules operate on the sensor side with up to 4 MBaud and have two network connections for different network topologies. Installation in switching cabinets is via a DIN rail.

The IF2008/ETH interface module is designed for multi-channel applications. This module allows for up to 8 Micro-Epsilon sensors or encoders with RS422 interface to be integrated into an Ethernet network. Furthermore, the converter offers 4 programmable switching inputs/outputs (TTL and HTL logic) as well as 10 indicator LEDs, which show the channel or device status directly on the device. Parameter setting of the interface module can be easily done via the web interface.

The IF2008/PCI interface card is designed for installation in PCs and enables the synchronous capture of digital sensor signals and encoders. The IF2008/PCIE interface card is developed for installation in PCs with PCI Express slots. Absolutely synchronous data acquisition plays an important role particularly for planarity or thickness measurement tasks. The interface card enables the synchronous capture of four digital sensor signals and two encoders. The data are stored in a FIFO memory in order to enable resource-saving processing in the PC in blocks.

Custom sheet metal systems from the first design draft to the finished product – adapted specifically to customer requirements: In a first step, the wishes of the customer are converted using our design ideas and practical expertise into a convincing and production-ready design. The constructive implementation of the design draft, as well as all other specifications and conditions, tailored to the special technological opportunities of the respective production partner, are the focus of the second project phase. The next step of this process is the manufacture of the prototype, such as the machine housing, which is performed at the production partner's site – from the laser cutting to the finished painted assembly unit. In order to present the product in the quality you expect, our designers coordinate all interfaces on site throughout the entire process down to the final assembly to present errors and to save time.

The RJ45 connector is the most used interface in data communications. CONEC has, based on this connector interface, designed a rugged versatile connector system for Cat. 5e and Cat. 6A, that ensures reliable protection and the convenience of easily mating under the most difficult and harsh environments. The housing with bayonet coupling mechanism is in compliance with IEC 61076-3-106 and provide increased protection for the connector system against contamination and moisture (IP67 rating). Furthermore, the increased demands for mechanical stability, temperature resistance, vibration immunity and protection against EMI and UV radiation will be fulfilled. This program is supplemented by preassembled patch cables with IP67 rating in various lengths and designs. The zinc die-cast version provides an excellent protection against harsh environment.
