Global energy consumption is constantly rising. The raw material required for vehicle operation, energy production and other products is predominantly based on crude oil and natural gas. Screw pumps are often used in the production of these valuable commodities. The oil is extracted from the dried pulp and shell. A raw (unrefined) and filtered oil is obtained. Natural sun protector and a powerful antioxidant. It helps the body to repair the sun damage from hair and skin. Buriti oil has a high concentration in carotenoids (1700 ppm), oleic acid (70-75%), tocopherols (800 ppm), polyphenols, and phytosterols. Carotenoids are the potent natural antioxidants and give the oils an orange–red color that is very pronounced in crude oil. Carotenoids responsible for many functional properties as antioxidant activity, prevention of cardiovascular disease, cancer, macular degeneration and in some cases provitamin A. After sun exposure, β-carotene levels in human skin decrease, leading to the conclusion that β-carotene is protective and consumed by UV-induced.

Passion fruit seed oil is extracted from the seeds of the fruit, by means of the pressing method, obtaining a filtered oil, crude (unrefined) and without additives. This emollient agent and skin lighting agent, supports skin barrier function and antioxidant properties that promotes dry and velvety touch to the skin, elasticity, suppleness and hydration. Passion Fruit seed oil have linoleic acid (ω-6) between 70-75%, which present at the level of epidermis lipids, it is used in the synthesis of ceramides in our skin. Linoleic acid is important for maintaining an intact lipid barrier and its physiological functions in our skin. Passion fruit oil is rich in vitamin C which helps treating sun spots and to reduce swelling. It is also a natural relaxant and activates blood circulation, which makes it useful for massages, to reduce muscular tension and varicose veins. It is also helpful to regulate the amount of oil in the face dermis.

The oil is extracted from the pulp of the fruit, through an expeller pressing process, to obtain a filtered, crude oil (unrefined) and without additives. Rich in Omega 9, it helps maintain the hair's natural color and shine, strengthening the hair follicles. It can be use in formulas for the treatment of dandruff and to revitalize hair, increasing its resistance and recovery. Apply to the scalp and massage for five minutes, spreading it along the hair.

The yellowish-white rice bran wax (Oryza Sativa Bran Cera) is extracted from the rice husk. Rice bran wax accumulates during the production of rice oil, with the crude rice oil containing 4-6% wax. It has a melting point of 77-82 °C, has a very hydrophobic character and forms rather soft oil gels. It is mainly used as a consistency agent in emulsions, e.g. as a component of cosmetic pencils.

The iFischer® DIST D5236 CC / FISCHER® AUTODEST® 860 AC can be converted to the “HV” version by adding an extended Potstillcolumn to the standard ASTMsystem (Potstill). The respective distillation process is performed in the range of 0.005...0.1 mm Hg. The iFischer® DIST D1160 CC / FISCHER® AUTODEST® 850 AC is a fully computer controlled unit of turn key design, and ready for use after installation and commissioning. The unit extends the current test method and does not limit your vacuum distillation testing options. You are able to define your own tailored program also beyond the current standard. The system is fully housed and equipped with doors in the front and rear to satisfy safety requirements and to facilitate service aspects. The design also grants an easy maintenance by the operator. The analysis protocol is printed out simultaneously to the distillation and the distillation curves in actual boiling temperatures (ACT) and atmospheric equivalent temperatures (AET) as well as essential distillation parameters are shown on the monitor. The final data and the distillation curves are printed and stored on harddisk.

Fully Automated/Computerized Distillation System for fractionating of crude oil samples, atmospheric residues resp. vacuum distillations of lubricating oil samples up to very low operation pressure (high vacuum HV Operation pressures down to 0.005 mmHg, allowing fraction temperatures up to 600 °C AET). The unit is equipped with an automatic fraction collector (FC) and combined automatic fraction discharge into final receivers, which are closed automatically. The fraction volumes and weights are determined by builtin volume follower system and internal balance (included software "FCExtension" allows to operate very narrow fractions by using max. 40 receivers).

The optical contact angle meters of the OCA series are high-precision measuring systems for the characterisation of interfaces and surfaces. They combine high-resolution optics, pinpoint liquid dosing and precise sample positioning to create powerful, reliable measuring systems. The special model OCA 25-PMC is based on the OCA 25 standard model. With its high-pressure measuring chamber, the special model OCA 25-PMC offers the possibility of carrying out measurements of interfacial tensions and contact angles under high-pressure of up to 750 bar and at temperatures between -30 °C and 200 °C. This makes the OCA 25-PMC the ideal solution to investigate, for example, the interfacial tension between a surfactant solution and crude oil in reservoir conditions. It is also possible to determine the contact angle, for example, between rock, oil, and surfactant solution.

Leistritz Multiphase pump systems are in operation worldwide. They are designed for running with high gas volume fractions (GVF) and gas bubbles with up to 100% gas content as well as for capacities of up to 5,000 m³/h and differential pressures of up to 150 bar. In comparison with traditional upstream installations, multiphase pumps need neither space-intensive separation devices at the borehole nor separate pumps, compressors or pipelines to transport gas and fluid to the central collection areas. Multiphase pumps are a cost-effective technology for the transportation of multiphase fluids using just a single pipeline - instead of separating the oil, water and gas at the collection areas and exporting the oil and gas to the central production facilities via separate pipelines.

In petrochemical and chemical process engineering, screw pumps, acting as displacement pumps, offer hydraulic characteristics which make them indispensable for the entire viscosity range. In chemical applications in particular, the high suction force and the gentle handling of the fluids to be pumped are the outstanding features of this type of pump. In general, all of our pumps can be used in this field, but the most common one is the two-rotor pump.
