Open wire heating elements are the best solution for air heating when used in fans. Because of our longlasting experience in this field, we can offer you a series construction in most cases. To use our open wire or coil heating elements in air, the installation of a cut-out is necessary (heat accumulation). The connection is done by a plug at the element (Faston 4,8 or 6,3) or by a cord set. Upon reaching the set torque, the torque wrench "clicks" to complete tightening while the limit switch simultaneously sends out a contact signal. Signals from a limit switch are captured on a programmable logic controller (PLC) or similar device to establish a Tightening Assurance System using assembly line interlock controls. Torque setting is easy to adjust by knob and scale. The ratchet head has 24 teeth with a 15 degree operating range, allowing for use in space-limited working conditions. A clear “click” sound signals tightening completion upon reaching the set torque. Metal handle version (-MH) especially suitable for use in greasy conditions (oil, chemicals, etc.) such as garage work.
