conTROL is an extremely robust EMC enclosure, which features EMC shielding without an expensive conductive gasket as standard. Continuous contact is created by means of a tooth system contour between the lid and bottom. It is ideal for every type of industrial internal mounting that requires special EMC protection. A lid with an extra-high collar edge and visually appealing bevelling is also available to protect buttons or switches on the front of the enclosure. The enclosure is water-tight and weather resistant. The interior contains fastening domes to accommodate mounting plates, supporting rails or circuit boards. Compatible cable glands are also availabe in the ROLEC product range.

FXL-CT table-top units are built for a maximum of 2 channels without preselection. They can be used to control magnetic chucks up to a total area of approx. 1.2m2. can be controlled. FXL-CT is designed as a table-top unit or to be attached to the machine wall by means of the magnetic feet on the back. The operation is carried out directly on the device.

IAI's new controller series: R-Unit R-Unit is the new generation of controllers that are coupled via module connections and are modularly interchangeable. These include the RSEL program controller for connecting up to 8 actuators (in combination with the REC EC control up to 16 actuators), the RCON position controller for up to 16 electric cylinders and the REC EC controller for motion control of up to 16 EleCylinder axes. Common to all of them are the linkable control units with identical connections, which allow a free selection and combination of connected electric actuators and their control methods. Mixed control of electric cylinders with 24 volt and 230 volt motors is also easily feasible.

Protherm controllers are universal configurable programmers that monitor, control and record processes running in a single furnace or simultaneously in multiple chambers. They are configurable for various types of batch and continuous furnaces. Installations are done on new or refurbished furnaces and are used for updating existing systems. For more than 35 years, TNC controls from HEIDENHAIN have been proving themselves in daily use on milling, drilling and boring machines, as well as machining centers. While the controls have undergone continuous development during this period, the basic operational technique has remained the same. You will find also these principles implemented in the TNC 640, the HEIDENHAIN contouring control for milling and milling/turning operations: shop-oriented programmability with graphic support, many field-proven cycles and an operational design you'll recognize from other HEIDENHAIN controls. Shop-oriented programming You program conventional milling and drilling operations, and with the TNC 640 also turning operations, yourself at the machine, in plain language dialog—the workshop-oriented programming language from HEIDENHAIN. The TNC 640 provides you with optimum support with practical prompts, questions and expressive graphical aids—for turning operations, too.

Inherently RFI/EMC immune and most flexible in its class The joysticks of the series 842 exhibit properties, which are normally found in bigger joystick models only, even though it is a very compact finger joystick. Particularly worth mentioning is the possibility to configure the three axes independently and the option for a friction clutch in x and/or y-axis. The series is equipped with potentiometers, because potentiometers are still the best choice if EMI/RFI resistance requirements are very high. The joysticks are available with up to 3 axes, and exhibit a robust mechanical metal mechanism. This way the return properties of the x and y-axis can be changed by e.g. using a stronger or weaker spring, or by using a friction clutch.

Unique: The TRY20 offers 3 axes and is still a compact thumb joystick The joysticks of the TRY20 series are unique in their class thanks to their rotatable knob, which, as a z-axis, offers an additional third, proportional degree of freedom for controlling the application. The industrial joysticks achieve the highest level of quality in terms of mechanics, materials and workmanship. The high-quality haptics convey a secure operating feeling and enable the user to precisely control movements in several dimensions. Double (redundant) outputs are optionally available, which enable use in safety-critical applications. Variants with protection class IP40 (hardcover) and sealed variants (rubber bellows) with protection class IP54 are available. If the z-axis (the rotatable knob) is not required, the 2-axis version with protection class IP65 can be implemented as a special version.

High-quality haptics for one-dimensional control tasks The proportional rockers of the PW30 series meet the highest demands on quality and reliability for long-term use in industrial environments. With the look of a rocker switch but the sensor technology of industrial joysticks, the PW30 series combines the advantages of joysticks (for transmitting an analogue control variable) with those of toggle switches (flat design, low space requirement). In addition to two different rocker shapes, choices between potentiometric or Hall-effect sensor technology, as well as between spring return to the centre position or to the end position, are possible. Redundant versions are also available on request.

Space-saving, compact – but rugged nonetheless The TRY50 series covers the transition from finger- to hand-size joysticks. This is realized by a construction of the very robust mechanism combined with space-saving Hall sensors. The TRY50 was specifically developed for applications, where a rugged hand joystick is needed, but space is limited. The optimized dimensioning of the mechanism and control lever make it possible to use the joystick in environments, where only finger joysticks would fit, but lack the needed load resistance. The joystick is equipped with Hall sensors and thus shows only minimal drift of the output signal over many years of operation. Optionally, redundant sensors can be chosen to further increase reliability.

For many years now, the CNC PILOT has been proving itself in daily use on lathes and has earned a reputation for convenient NC programming. With the introduction of smart.Turn, HEIDENHAIN has made yet another step forward toward greater ease of use. Easily understandable program entry in forms, default setting for global values, numerous selections and straightforward graphic support ensure fast and easy operation. The new smart.Turn interface is based on the proven HEIDENHAIN-DIN PLUS. Because smart.Turn produces DIN PLUS programs. It provides both the NC programmer and the machine operator with all relevant information during program run. The joysticks of the TRY100 series cover a great variety of different applications due to their high number of configuration options, and convince technically in every respect The TRY100 is the all-rounder in the field of finger joysticks because of the extensive selection of handles, limiters and output options. Optionally, redundant sensors are available. Thus, the joysticks can be optimized for almost all possible applications. With the convenient plug-in contact and the small installation depth of < 26 mm, the joystick offers unequalled opportunities in case of space-limitations below the panel. Due to its modern contact-less hall-sensors, the electro mechanics guarantee for a long mechanical life expectancy of 5 million operations. The construction is laid-out for a load resistance up to 200 N, and improved handle options offer protection up to IP67 above the panel.

For many years now, the MANUALplus has been proving itself in daily use on cycle lathes and is characterized particularly by convenient manual machine operation. Application-oriented cycle programming enables the machinist to create and edit programs rapidly and effi ciently on the lathe. The introduction of the MANUALplus 620 extends the area of application to single-spindle CNC lathes. With the smart.Turn operating mode, HEIDENHAIN has made yet another step forward toward greater ease of use. The size of these joysticks can be compared with the ones that are widely used in gamepads, but the TRY14 is integrated into an industrial-suited housing with a reliable mechanism. Typical applications range from remote controls, arm rest integration or integration into larger joystick handles to industrial or medical robot arms.

The medium-sized hand joysticks of the 870 series with stock grip handle were specially developed for the multi-axis control of machines in demanding applications with highest requirements on quality and feel. The joysticks are a guarantee for success in demanding applications with up to three axes, where quality, durability and reliability are paramount. The precision manufacturing of the joystick results in a particularly high-quality feel that conveys a safe operating feeling and enables the user to precisely control movements in several dimensions. Thanks to the non-contact Hall effect technology and the optional double outputs, the joysticks are extremely reliable and safe to use even in the toughest conditions. The joystick is electrically connected via a 12-pin connector, which enables easy installation. The installation depth of <49 mm is particularly advantageous when space is limited.

Reliable switching with spring return mechanism thanks to the 851 joystick with good price/performance ratio The series 851 switch sticks feature a functional but space-saving design. The optimized mechanics, including a stainless steel metal shaft, combined with micro switches allow for reliable switching for currents up to 10 A and voltages up to 240 V, while only taking less than 24 mm space below the panel. The spring return mechanism guarantees for safe control of the application. A cross- and one-dimensional limiter are both supplied with the shipment. The protection is IP65 above the panel. On request, switches with gold-plated contacts are available for corrosive surroundings.

The adaptability of the sensors in the premium joystick series 826 is unequalled in the field of joysticks The joystick series 826 fulfils the highest demands on quality. It shows its strengths at challenging applications with up to 2 axes, where no compromises are made when it comes to endurance and reliability, and the application asks for special sensor configurations. Die configuration options of the series 826 are unique: both axes exhibit a separated shaft for the sensors, so that the sensors, micro switches and return mechanism (spring return/friction clutch) can be adjusted individually.
