STOL®194 is a CuFe2P alloy with good electrical conductivity for components with low to medium strength requirements. With its good relaxation resistance, it is very suitable for terminals, lead frames and power transistors.

STOL®95 is a CuCrZr alloy with a combination of very high electrical conductivity and good relaxation resistance, even at an operating temperature of 250°C. This alloy is very suitable for components with medium strength requirements. It is used particularly in applications in the field of mobile devices, as a heat sink, and for highcurrent contacts, for example in hybrid vehicles or photovoltaic technology.

STOL®76 is a precipitation hardened CuNiSi alloy for applications in the automotive, electrical and electronics industries. This alloy is particularly suitable for components in the medium strength range (up to 620 MPa). The combination of good electrical conductivity and good relaxation resistance makes this alloy especially recommendable for automotive connectors.

Novelis Advanz™ 7UHS – s701 is a product developed for structural applications requiring high inservice strength. The 7xxx alloy provides the highest T6 strength among current aluminum alloys and has significantly higher strength over incumbent 6xxx alloys. This in turn offers potential for lightweighting of structural parts over advanced high strength steel options without compromising performance requirements. The alloy-temper can be optimized to provide good balance between strength, crash performance and corrosion resistance. Advanz™ 7UHS – s701 is an excellent choice for strength-dominated structural components, such as A-pillar, B-pillar, door beams as well as various other structural reinforcements. This product exhibits excellent specific strength and specific energy absorption along with good hot formability making it an ideal material for lightweighting of structural reinforcements. Autofrettage is a method for increasing fatigue strength of components for use at high and pulsating pressures. In short, Autofrettage compresses a container’s inner surface, making better use of the material’s structural properties. The process can reduce fatigue concerns in pulsating applications and lets engineers reduce tubing thickness in high-pressure applications without sacrificing strength, life, or safety. The autofrettage method is based on the reciprocal relationship of the plasticized inner zone and the elastically deformed outer zone. The components are placed under so much pressure that their interiors become plastically deformed. After relaxing, pressure stresses are created in these areas, which prevent the outer areas from reforming to their original shape. Instead, it remains stretched.
