Keiper profiles and cleats Many special, innovative tasks required in the material flow, such as pacing, separating or positioning, can be realized by adding profiles/cleats and entraining elements to the belts. Profiles and entraining elements are made of the same high-quality polyurethane as our timing belts, are mechanically processed as sheets or injection molded. They are available in different blends and degrees of hardness, with glass-fiber reinforcement and in a matching color. The profiles and entraining elements are homogeneously fastened to the belt by welding or glueing. In view of our production methods, the cleats can be formed into any shape.

The Keiper UNITRANS conveyor belt series can be fitted with numerous different cleats and entraining elements. Cleats and entraining elements are used for ascending or descending conveyor systems, linear movements and whenever lateral forces occur. With these elements it is easier to carry along, transport and place the products to be conveyed. Conveyor belt cleats made of PVC and PU – with or without fabric interlayers – in blue, white, green, petrol or transparent. Depending on the design, they are resistant to oil and grease, have FDA/EU approval. PVC/PU cleats made of belt material can be produced in a straight design or with an inclination of approximately 60° or 80° respectively. We also have a wide range of special cleats such as, for example: PVC 60° Shore A, closed-loop cleats, profiled cleats made of belt material, fabric and felt cleats, and special forms based on the customer’s requirements.

PurMop® EF40 single-use mop comprises a specially developed microfiber looped cleaning pile made from 80 % polyester-microfiber and 20 % polyester . This innovative disposable mop stands out through its superior cleaning ability and a good price-performance ratio. It offers an effective and safe alternative to reusable mops, without the need of decontamination after use. Available in non-sterile (EF40) and sterile (EF40-S) version.

The contaminated cutting fluid is introduced into the dirt tank (E) of the folding belt filter system through the lifting stations. The internal processing of the system consists of two steps: “Filtration” and “Regeneration.”

With this machine system KLN has created a reasonably priced solution for aqueous part cleaning. Application is possible in all ranges of industry and for all kinds of contamination. The components can be compiled for any process in a modular construction system. They can be supplemented by all systems for tank care as well by an automation of the cleaning processes. The complete PWA series is available also in special sizes. The PWA cleaning tanks are available for determination of residual contamination.

“Powersonic” is a type of KLN transducer systems with a particularly good cleaning effect and especially solid design. Thus we give full guarantee for up to 12.000 hours in max. 3 years. Submersible transducers are ultrasonic transducer systems in hermetically welded metal housing, inside of which piezoceramic transducer elements are incorporated. They are arranged at the bottom or at the sides of cleaning tanks. The HF current supply is realized via a power supply line which is lead via connection box at the back, a pipe elbow or a flexible metal mesh hose. Various sizes of submersible transducers make possible to use them in operating frequencies differing from 20, 25, 30, 40 up to 132 kHz.

The machine of series KT can be applied universally. It is designed for the industrial part cleaning. Application fields: metal degreasing, electrical industry, optical industry, medical technology, maintenance and service etc. The compact design of the machine as 3-tank system guarantees a high cleaning quality together with space-saving location. The basic version consists of a heated ultrasonic tank (tank 1) and heated cascade rinsing (tank 2 and 3). Additionally a separate dryer corresponding to the size of the compact unit can be made available. The tanks are incorporated in a solid frame. Optionally a stainless steel base frame can be delivered. Armatures, tank and frame are made of stainless steel. All valves can be easily operated at front of the machine. All electrical operating elements are on the front of the machine. They are each assigned to the tanks.

KLN has developed spray unit concepts, e. g. for precision cleaning of electronic components, here focusing on cleaning of DCB, ceramics and polymer-FR4-SMD in inline continuous spray units. KLN plans and manufactures cleaning plants using state-of-the-art technologies. The machine concept is adapted to the referring chemical products used, thus safe monitoring and process control is guaranteed. KLN Ultraschall AG offers cleaning for small and medium lot sizes without requirement to cleanliness with a max. part size of 300 x 350 mm and a max. weight of 20 kg.

The KLN BATCH-INLINE cleaning system is based on many years of experience with Inline Cleaning systems for the electronics production and unites, for the first time, the technological advantages of Inline cleaning with low space requirement of a Batch system. By far, most of the Inline cleaning systems in Germany for the large-scale production “Automotives” and “alternative energy” come from company KLN. This system was developed to make the efficient Inline cleaning technology available now also for customers with smaller budgets and throughputs.

KLN ultrasonic generators are incorporated in cleaning tanks of various capacity from some liters up to several cubic meters. They have a high operating reliability also under extremely difficult application conditions. Based on decades of experience in developing ultrasonic generators today we have a broad variety of generator series, meeting the most various requirements concerning frequency, way of installation and output power.

Ultrasonic cleaning tanks of series SW 12, SW 25 and SW 40 are compact tabletop cleaning devices for industrial purposes. The serial version includes a cover with handle. The cleaning tanks can be equipped alternatively with frequencies of 30 or 40 kHz or in combination 30/40kHz. On the front the ultrasonic operation can be set nonstop or for a limited period. The ultrasonic generators are integrated in the stainless steel housings. The devices are equipped with a heating with thermostatic regulation installed at the outside of the tank. It is set on the front. The tanks are made of stainless steel, here the SW40 – SW90 are built in welded design. On the bottom they have a residual clearance. Heated and cold cleaning tanks complete the program. Only aqueous cleaning agents are permitted in the cleaning tanks.

KLN manufactures various cleaning machines acc. to ATEX (ATmosphère EXplosibles) for the use of combustible liquids. The cleaning machines can be used separately or in combination with other methods. The cleaning tanks must be operated at a well ventilated place. The combustible cleaning agent can be filled in directly into the tanks. The ultrasonic generators are set up separately. A safety thermostat (setting 15°C below the flash point) controls the adherence to a max. temperature and in case of excess temperature it switches the machine off. The cover included in the delivery avoids emissions from the tank during standstills. The machines can also be used in connection with aqueous cleaning methods. After cleaning we use drying systems in order to achieve spotless drying, to protect corrosion-sensitive parts or to avoid water intake into production. The drying systems can be integrated in manual or fully-automatic cleaning processes. KLN manufactures various drying systems in several versions.
