The DIGISTANT® model 4420 universal calibrator, built to use in the field, is ideal for checking and calibrating temperature measurement and control devices. The versatile functions of this portable unit allow to be used on-site or at a fixed location, on the test floor or in the laboratory. The unit allows the simulation and measurement of voltages, currents, temperatures and resistances.Simultaneous transmission and measurement allow, for example, controllers to be checked precisely. The automatic ramp function is used for controlling processes. The universal calibrator measures and simulates 14 models of thermocouples and Pt100. The precision Pt100 simulator is used wherever measuring instruments or controlling systems have to be tested or calibrated with great precision. The standard version model 4506 simulates 24 set temperature values. Totally different temperature ranges are required in the case of special applications, such as in the food industry, the medical science etc. Model 4506 S is recommended for these applications and can be fitted with 24 temperature values according to customer specifications. A distinctive feature of these simulators is their simple operation. The resistance values required for simulation are directly set in °C. There is no need to use loof-up tables. Today in many cases a certificate is needed more than ever force measurements. This certificate is available under order code 45DKD-.. . Wherever temperatures are measured, temperatures must also be simulated. The Pt100-simulator is suitable for a wide area of applications. It has a wide range of simulation, which is resolved in 0.1 °C steps and makes many assignments in chemistry-, measuring-, controlling-, medicine and household applications, food industry, vehicle construction, air- and space travel and power plants easy to solve. Often in the past several simulators had to be used alongside to achieve either resolution or the range of the relevant application. As an extra advantage to the user temperatures can be entered in degrees celsius. Additional extensive conversions and readings in tabulation sheets are no longer necessary. We offer you standardized complete systems for the measurement of volume & mass flows. We use measuring elements that have established themselves within previously built customer-specific test benches and convince with high measuring accuracy. The SMF® series of nozzle test benches has been specially developed for calibration with air. Critical nozzles are used as measuring elements. Up to 18 critical nozzles can be combined, depending on customer requirements. EP offers different designs for the register: Drum Design, Block Design & Register Design. Another variant is a mobile system: The EP SMF® - Mobile Flow Calibrator - a compact measuring system for flow calibration. EP Ehrler Prüftechnik manufactures single nozzles in the flow rate range from 0.005 to 2000 m³/h. In addition to our standard range, we also manufacture customer-specific nozzles that are perfectly designed for your application in compliance with DIN EN ISO 9300*.

The high-precision calibration laboratory is accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 for flow calibration of flowing gases. The EP calibration laboratory is accredited by the DAkkS according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 for calibrations of gases in-house and on-site under the procedure number D-K-21444-01-00. We offer calibrations for gas flow measurement as well as temperature, humidity and pressure measurements. In addition, we calibrate all measured variables of the test bench directly at your site. Our experienced technicians also check the harmonious interaction of all sensors, so that the entire system is perfectly tuned. The opening of our new calibration laboratory in Asia enables us to offer you even better service internationally.

Maintain the high accuracy of your BlowerDoor measuring technology by regularly submitting it to a calibration. Benefit from the high accuracy of the BlowerDoor measuring technology: At ± 4% or rather ± 5% (flow rings D + E), the accuracy of the BlowerDoor testing flow rings – as well as that of the pressure gauge DG-700 (± 1%) or DG-1000 (± 0.9 %) – clearly exceed the minimum legal requirements. The manufacturer’s calibration as well as the calibration with DAkkS-certificate, are subject to the highest quality standards. When calibrated, all measuring systems undergo a preceding functional test. If required, we will gladly provide you with a replacement device at favorable rates and conditions, while your BlowerDoor measuring system is being calibrated or repaired.

Traceable calibration of testing machines and instruments is essential for industrial quality control. Calibration certificates are a compelling proof of test equipment inspection for the standards DIN EN ISO 9000ff and DIN EN ISO / IEC 17025. The time intervals for the calibration will depend on the applicable standard, but should normally not exceed 12 months. Attention should also be paid to the rules for local changes or repairs. Calibration & Maintenance

The precision RTD simulator is used where measuring instruments or controlling means with high precision must be examined or calibrated. The simulator is suitable for calibration laboratory and service centers which need a computer-controlled resistance decade for the automation of calibration procedures. All standard platinum and nickel RTD can be simulated with very high accuracy according to scales ITS 90 or IPTS 68. Temperature regulators, transducers etc. often supply a pulsed signal current in order to reduce the self-heating of the RTD. Devices with electronic simulation of RTD are therefore inclined to swinging and do not function with this application. The multipurpose digital indicator TRANS CAL 7281 can be used wherever there is a need to perform high-precision, in-situ calibrations of sensing components used in equipment such as presses, torque tools or pressure-regulating systems. An optional factory calibration certificate or German-accredited DKD/DAkkS calibration certificate can be provided when the measurement device needs to be used as a reference. This provides a quick and cost-effective way of assessing a system with traceable documentation of measurement results. If a reference measurement cannot be made because the sensor location is difficult to access, it is still possible to test the zero point, the input, output and isolation resistance as well as the calibrating offset of the fitted sensor. It is also possible to check the indicating device by measuring the excitation voltage and simulating the characteristic values (mV/V or V) of the sensor used.

This high-precision calibration source is able to measure currents up to ±50 mA, voltages ±100 V and temperature setpoint values of 12 thermocouple types, including R, S, B, J, T, E, K and N. Voltage drops across the measuring leads can be easily compensated via the sense line. With “thermoelectric voltage simulation” you can enter °C, °F and K, the temperature scales ITS-90 or IPTS-68 and the reference junction type constant/external. Furthermore, when simulating thermocouples a calibrated external reference junction can be used, with the calibration data being taken into account in the device. The device can be operated both via the keypad and via the Ethernet and USB interface. The innovative white light interferometers from Micro-Epsilon set a benchmark in high-precision distance and thickness measurements. These sensors enable stable measurement results with sub-nanometer resolution offering a comparatively large measuring range and offset distance. The interferometers are available in 3 series: the IMS5400-DS for high-precision industrial distance measurements, the IMS5400-TH for accurate thickness measurements and the vacuum-suitable IMS5600-DS for distance measurements with picometer resolution.

Capacitive sensors are designed for non-contact measurement of displacement, distance and position, as well as for thickness measurement. Due to their high signal stability and resolution, capacitive displacement sensors are applied in laboratories and industrial measurement tasks. In production control, for example, capacitive sensors measure film thickness and application of the adhesive. Installed in machines, they monitor displacement and tool positions.

The force measuring chain is an universal reference measuring chain for the calibration of press-fit force measuring equipment. It finds applications in the quality assurance, commissioning and equipment monitoring fields. A DAkks calibration certificate is included so that the force measuring chain can be traced back. The calibration is traceable through accreditation at the German Accreditation Body. The calibration certificate records the displayed values for mounting positions at 0°, 120° and 240°. During calibration in field, the reference load cell is inserted in line with the flux of the press-fit measuring equipment. The force application is of central significance here for the quality of the measurement. Special force application parts are required, so that the line of action of the force agrees as exactly as possible with the geometrical axis of the load cell that is to be measured (central loading).

The B+B measuring transducer module Pt1000 with voltage output 0-10V, is an accurate reliable digital measuring transducer in a miniaturised PCB design with modern ASIC technology - digitally calibrated for connecting Pt1000 sensors.

The amplifier module model 9243 is used wherever measurement signals from strain gauges, potentiometric sensors or DC/DC sensors have to be converted into standard signals. Simply by mounting on conventional DIN-mount rails, it is possible to position the amplifier module on location, in the proximity of the sensor. Especially for rough environments a IP65 version is available. The broad auxiliary power range and the choice between AC or DC permits operation on standard power supplies used in switch gear cabinets. A highly precise reference voltage source is built-in for calibration purposes. A calibrating shunt can also be connected via two separate terminals. This permits deliberate detuning of a strain gauge sensor for calibration or merely to check the measuring chain.
