The Cable Entry Plate KADP is used to insert and seal cables in enclosures, machines and control cabinets. It provides a high flexibility for varios applications. KADP is perfect in tight spaces, as several cables can be inserted into the plate. Due to the ideal placement of the close-fitting insertion points, a high packing density with a protection grade of IP66 is achieved. The installation of the KADP into the enclosure is time-saving, by simply snapping the plate in with a single click. The cables are simply plugged in and the job is done. The "pushout" membrane re-seales almost by itself after removing the cable.

PFLITSCH offers various hoses to provide comprehensive protection against mechanical and thermal damage to cables, for example where cables are installed in a corrosive environment or where cables run across the floor between a machine and a mobile operating enclosure. The UNI Dicht® system has suitable solutions in metal and plastic for safe connection of hoses to cable glands in these situations. Clampless variants are most suitable e.g. for the food industry, where no contamination or dirt is allowed to build up. These variants have all the advantages of the UNI Dicht® system, including a excellent seal up to IP 68, superior strain relief values, EMC and Ex-compatibility as well as great versatility of application. The LevelEx is available in sizes M16 to M63 or with NPT threads from 3/8" to 2 1/2". PFLITSCH manufactures the cable gland bodies from bright brass, galvanised nickel-plated brass and corrosion-free stainless steel. The LevelEx achieves protection class IP 66 or IP 68 and corresponds to the ignition protection types flameproof enclosure "Ex-d" and increased safety "Ex-e". With its wide temperature range of -60 °C to +130 °C and approvals according to ATEX and IECEx, the LevelEx can also be used under extreme environmental conditions. For armoured cables, PFLITSCH offers the LevelEX AC. It has the same technical quality as the proven LevelEx for non-armoured cables. In addition, it convinces with additional properties. For example, it scores with an innovative design for accommodating armoured cables: Two opposing windows in the armour clamping allow the correct seating of the cable armour to be checked immediately.

The extensive UNI Dicht system is synonymous in the industry with high-quality, application-specific cable glands. Users all over the world are impressed with their high ingress protection, operational reliability and durability, not to mention resistance to environmental effects and impacts. UNI Dicht meets all the current EU requirements for cable entries as well as relevant international certifications such as UL and CSA. For 90° cable entries and safe outlets from switchgear cabinets PFLITSCH UNI elbow solutions enable cables to be taken safely around corners up to 90°. These cable glands have an angled cable gland body made from die-cast zinc or PA plastic. Elbow cable glands achieve the same technical values as the UNI Dicht® standard models. The variants with a rotating coupling can direct the component leg in any direction 360° around the attached leg in order to achieve the best cable entry. PFLITSCH makes these as standard products in sizes M16 to M40 and Pg 9 to Pg 36. To feed cables at an angle into/out of switchgear cabinets or machine housings, PFLITSCH produces various short and long flanged elbows in die-cast zinc and PA plastic. They are screwed tightly on to the housing and can accept – depending on the version – cable glands in sizes M16 to M63 and Pg 9 to Pg 48. An inserted o-ring securely seals the flange to the housing.

Comprehensive Ex-protection for gas and dust environments PFLITSCH has many ATEX-certified cable glands for use in potentially explosive atmospheres – e.g. in the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries, agriculture, wood processing and the metal industry. TPE sealing inserts are used for operating temperatures between -40 °C and +115 °C, while silicone (LSR) inserts are used between -55 °C and +180 °C. The various Ex-certified EMC cable glands are particularly worthy of mention.

PFLITSCH is setting new standards in damping values with the cable gland blueglobe TRI, as demonstrated by its successful certification for Cat. 8A applications. Now these high-quality, EU-approved EMC cable glands have fulfilled the demanding requirements for UL certification and can therefore also be used worldwide. Its triangular spring makes 360° contact with the screening braid. The cable gland combines excellent HF-damping performance and ease of installation with the other system features to achieve values greatly in excess of the requirements of EN 62444. Whereas Cat. 8A requirements in accordance with DIN IEC 61156-5 demand at least 60 dB up to 1,000 MHz, blueglobe TRI performs significantly better, attaining values of 65 dB to over 100 dB. Even in the high frequency range up to 2.5 GHz, the values are typically a minimum of 50 dB. The cable gland also has a very high current-carrying capacity.

Splittable plastic and metal versions seal preassembled cables The splittable flange variants UNI Flange in plastic and UNI Flange HD (Heavy Duty) in metal have been well-designed by PFLITSCH as product solutions for use in harsh industrial environments to provide reliable cable entries for preassembled cables. A two-part frame manufactured from high-quality grey or black PA plastic or die-cast zinc can be inserted into standard 112 mm x 36 mm sheet metal cut-outs for 24-pin rectangular heavy-duty plug-in connectors and provides the cable entries with a reliable seal.
