LIPP® Tank Accessories special attention is paid to ensure quality, safety, longevity and cost efficiency. Solid, well thoughtout finishing in every detail. Particular attention is paid to leaktightness. Openings or leadthroughs can also easily be made after attachment/installation. A broad range of technical tank accessories is available for all containers. Some are produced inhouse and some are purchased via partners or carefully selected suppliers with whom Lipp has established longterm relationships based on trust. Accessories tank bottom, tank insulation, pumping and stirring technology, overflow gutters, tank heating, steps, platforms, operating bridges, overpressure and underpressure protection devices, pipeline construction, sensors, etc.

The GEMÜ 687 2/2-way diaphragm valve has a low maintenance plastic membrane actuator and is pneumatically operated. The valve has a metal distance piece. The GEMÜ 601, GEMÜ 612 and GEMÜ 673 2/2-way diaphragm valves have a temperature resistant plastic handwheel and are manually operated. The GEMÜ 602 valve has a stainless steel handwheel and is manually operated. Bonnet and internals are made all of stainless steel. Homogenizing large tank volumes, mixing-in additives during the production of lubrication oil and suspending solids in a liquid phase are typical applications for the pneumatic pulse-mixing technology of PULSAIR. The process, patented worldwide, is based on an injection of an adjustable pressure pulse underneath an accumulator plate, installed on the bottom of the mixing tank. The injected pressurized air forms a big air bubble, soaring within the tank and displacing the surrounding liquid. Meanwhile negative pressure is generated underneath the bubble, sucking the surrounding material. This produces in the tank a vertical flow directed upwards, adjustable according to the requirements by varying the pulse length and the pulse duration. Contrary to mechanical agitators the height of the tank is very marginal. No moving parts or shaft bearings are in the tank.

Flat bottom tanks according to DIN 4119, VdTÜV 960 and EN14015 up to diameter of 7.000 mm can be produced in our production site. Flat bottom tanks with larger diameter are prefabricated here and assemblied at costumers´ site by our qualified team. The YSTRAL jet stream mixer fulfils all requirements for a complete and homogeneous mixing of the contents of a vessel. Effective micro- and macro-mixing of the entire contents of the vessel without the introduction of air. Complete mass transfer across all vessel levels due to vertical mixing. Up to 90% of the energy used is converted into vertical flow - no rotating vessel contents. Even heavy sediments are suspended by directed streams. Rotating parts are protected against unintentional intervention. With open tanks no tank fixing is necessary. A fast rotating rotor surrounded by a stator generates a downward directed guide jet which directs the liquid flow directly to the bottom of the container. At the bottom of the container, the stream splits and creates an upward flow on the outer wall. At the surface, the liquid flow is redirected towards the bottom of the tank.
