We are experienced in test system development for leakage testing, life time testing and end-of-line test stands in the field of gas & hydrogen technology. We also have a network of suppliers and partners who provide key components for leakage measurement, piping, sealing and instrumentation. As a general contractor and integrator, Merecs Engineering can individually design, assemble and commission the test system at our customers' sites.

In some countries, cement is widely delivered by railway. The cement carried in wagons can be transferred to the cement silos with special pneumatic cement feeding system developed by ELKON. ELKON Cement Delivery System from Railway consists of wagon feeding hopper, intermediary feeding screw, material holding tank, pressure tank, compressor and control panel. The system which has a cement feeding capacity of 50 tons / hour can also be used to feed a large number of cement silos.

We develop electrical test systems based on NI-PXI or NI-cRIO that can take on real-time capable measurement and control tasks. In addition, we can provide the FPGAs that can be used on the NI systems and the real-time operating system with software individually tailored to customer requirements.

Merecs develops individual test systems for heat pumps, gas, fluid and water systems. Our engineers & fitters for electronics, installation technology and mechanics build the systems completely from one source at our location in Steinfurt. The systems are then delivered and commissioned at home and abroad. For conventional wiring of motors, servo-drives or linear units/drives, time and costs for cabling, maintenance and diagnostics are very high. Separate cables from the switch cabinet are used for the power supply and control of every single motor. This procedure does not only require much space, but also causes high costs. With the new CONEC series, a compact hybrid connector system has been developed, combining power supply and data transmission in one single connector. This technology is equivalent to the modern connection and interface wiring technology.

Finding out the unrealized potential through the use of weight per unit area gauges One of the most vital factors in the production of wood panels is the constant spreading of material. If tolerances are exceeded, higher material and energy consumption are the consequences. MSX, which constantly moves back and forth across the mat before it enters the hot press, maintains tolerances within the optimum range. The result is homogeneous forming in lengthwise and crosswise directions. The enormous technical developments of “Weight per Unit Area Gauges” of the past years are physically not visible. What are the previous limitations of weight per unit area gauges? The x-ray tube needed a cooling device. This resulted in a reduced lifetime. Electronic Wood Systems developed a detector with extremely high sensitivity – probably unmatched in the world. Due to this new detector the net power could be reduced to a small portion of the permitted power.
