XIMEA supports more than 30 of the most popular machine vision libraries, including Mathworks Matlab, MVTec HALCON, National Instruments LabVIEW, MicroManager, and OpenCV. The XIMEA CamTool is a cross-platform viewer application that is capable of setting most camera parameters, controlling various features, displaying the video stream, and saving snapshots and sequences. The feature set includes a histogram, line profile, LUT, averaging, flip/rotation, loop recording, shading correction, and more. For rapid prototyping, it is extendable with a scripting engine and custom plugins.

SoftTesT is an evaluation software for measurement data, obtained from the evaluation electronics 813 or dynamometers 323. By means of SoftTesT measuring values are transferred to the PC in the form of CSV files (compatible with Excel), for a further, simple analysis and graphic illustration. For data transfer to the PC an USB interface cable is necessary.

With TesTWinner® TesT has developed a system which enables the user to arrange nearly every imaginable test procedure freely and, most notably, very easy. By stringing together and by parameterizing, a limited number of preset macro instructions permits the designing of complex test procedures without requiring any programming knowledge. TesTWinner® possesses a library with approx. 300 programs acc. to national and international norms as well as customer-specific regulations. TesTWinner® is more than a mere machine control unit and offers furthermore many additional functions such as real-time-calculations and illustrations of derived values e.g. clamping, strain, adhesion factors, etc. Also, the generation of statistics, a report editor, the import of external signals, the communication with CAN / LIN bus systems and much more is possible. The software is compatible to all current Windows operating systems.

In addition to the strip speed, VRecoS also records up to three further tracks, such as the rolling force or the strip thickness at the ingoing and outgoing ends of the mill. The measurement protocols can be stored, printed out and distributed by e-mail. The measured values are recorded as a function of length. The recording frequency can be set with a scanning rate of 2 ms. Random lengths of strip at the leading and trailing ends (drop-off) can be suppressed, even subsequently. The signals are recorded using a data collector belonging to the scope of supply. Its electronics with input and output modules is designed for installation in switch cabinets or desks in interference-proof 24 Volt top-hat (DIN) rail technology. It transmits the data via a network cable to the Windows recording computer which can be supplied by Vollmer or by the customer.

VGraph is the software package for the recording and visualisation of data with extensive statistical data evaluation options. It synchronously records up to 16 measurement values – for example thickness, width and speed of the strip, rolling force or strip tension – on a production line, stores them and evaluates them statistically. With statistical functions such as histograms, Cp and CpK values and error lists, VGraph provides valuable decision aids for the evaluation and further use of the coil produced. The diagnostic instruments allow optimisation of the rolling process and the line engineering. The optional FFT analysis detects periodic fluctuations in the strip thickness. VGraph meets the needs of day-to-day strip production. One example: Random lengths of strip at the leading and trailing ends (drop-off) can be suppressed – even subsequently – in the statistical evaluations.

BlueVis: Unified Bioprocess Management. With BlueVis software bioprocesses can be monitored and controlled in an easy way. Sensors and probes can be connected independently from brand. All data will be logged and visualized in real-time. BlueVis processes the data and automatically calculates key parameters (like OUR, CTR, RQ etc.) via integrated soft sensors. Actuators like pumps, stirrers, cryostates or thermostats can be operated and controlled to optimize the process. The software offers all data to process lead systems via integrated OPC server. The ProCom process starts by using influencing variables, based on the calendar, with the forecast of electricity consumption across Germany. The TesTController 850 is able to process up to six measuring channels with a 24 bit resolution and further six channels with a 10 bit resolution. In addition, it can handle three measuring channels for incremental signals. For controlling of drives there are three regulations channels available, so that even complex combination drives are possible (e.g. force and torque control at the same time). The maximum control frequency is 1 kHz, the maximum measurement frequency is 50 kHz. This testing machine controller 850 may recognize sensors that are equipped with TEDS chips (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet acc.to IEEE 1451.4), read their properties and calibration data, and automatically calibrate them. Thus, these electronic units operate with dozens of different sensors, so that a complex recalibration is not required. All universal testing machines of the model series 106 - 114 are equipped with the TesTController 850.
