A clamping ring machine is a system for the automatic production of clamping rings. Schmale Maschinenbau Gmbh is one of the leading manufacturers of clamping ring machines in Europe. On our clamping ring machines, the strip material is profiled, bent and cut. Automatically closures are supplied and welded. The finished clamping ring is calibrated and stored. Via a servo-electric transfer, all processing stations are connected to each other and operated simultaneously. Thus, cycle rates of up to 28 clamping rings per minute can be realized.

Four new models for even more flexibility The product family of aluminium Solid Clamp tube connectors has a new addition: size 30 base clamps, sleeve clamps and hinge clamps are now also available for delivery with integrated ball joint. A sleeve clamp with double ball also adds to the range. The ball joints are designed for loads of up to 40 Nm (static). Connected applications can be pivoted freely by 60° and rotated freely by 360°. This way, the new tube connectors with ball joint provide a significantly higher degree of freedom for construction than conventional hinged connectors. An appropriate surface coating on the ball joint makes for a high-strength clamping connection. The clamps feature a universal connecting plate for flexible integration. RK tube connector – unbeatable variety Thanks to their simple clamping principle, the aluminium tube connectors enable the fast assembly of both round and square precision tubes. The huge diversity of this system is what makes it an attractive and cost-effective alternative to conventional welded connections. Our application expertise and the experience we have gained over several decades as a manufacturer of clamp connectors give you security for individual handling of RK tube connection systems. Connecting tubes with different diameters and cross sections to one another The cast aluminium or extruded aluminium tube connectors impress with good mechanical properties, a wide range of variants and optimum value for money. The Solid Clamps product range currently comprises clamp connectors with a diameter of 8-80 mm for round tubes and of 20-80 mm for square tubes. More than 170 basic types in over 400 different variations are available.

Safety Clamping for Rail Systems, Compact Holding force 300 N Small can clamp perfectly too: The LOCKED-Family SLK clamping elements are more compact than the Series SL. They also clamp directly onto the respective linear guide, suit all standard rail sizes from 15 to 55 mm and profiles from the known suppliers and are extremely reliable and safe. Thanks to the patented spring steel plate system, the product family SLK achieves clamping and holding forces of up to 2,100 N with the shortest reaction times when vented. Thanks to the sintered metal coatings and the clamping function in emergency stop (e.g. in case of a power failure), this range enables braking directly on the rail. All clamping elements offer the maximum holding and braking forces and achieve up to 1 million clamping cycles or up to a maximum of 500 emergency braking operations in the 4 and 6 bar version.

Safety Clamping for Rail Systems Holding force 540 N Always on the safe side: The safety clamping elements LOCKED SL clamp and brake directly on the clear area of guide rails on linear modules with forces of up to 10,000 N. They are individually adjusted to the linear guide being used and are available for all rail sizes from 20 to 65 mm and profiles from all renowned manufacturers. Special brake pads made of low wear sintered metal are used for the additional emergency stop braking functions in the safety clamping elements LOCKED SL. The SL product family offers optimum static clamping with a service life up to 1 million cycles or up to 500 emergency braking operations. They also offer low system costs in comparison with hydraulic and electric solutions.
