The MBS standard cylinder series is characterized by a variable and stroke-independent welded construction. Due to the uniform force transitions between the different sizes and the different connection situations, they are often used in the areas of mobile and stationary hydraulics. Cylinder connection is via welded rod ends and bolted radial bearings. Connections with threaded holes for pipe fittings according to BSPP ISO 1179-2 are planned. With the exception of the piston rod, all surfaces are protected against corrosion with a black primer. On request alternative surface treatments are possible. The surface of the piston rod is hard chromed, ground and polished. The cylinders are suitable for hydraulic fluids of types H, HL and HLP according to DIN 51524/51525. WDI's welding wire production at the Hamm/Westf. and Rothenburg/Saale /Wettin.Löbejün) sites can look back on a history of almost 50 years. Unalloyed and low-alloyed inert gas and submerged arc wire electrodes have been manufactured at WDI's main plant in Hamm/Westphalia since 1975 and at WDI in Rothenburg in central Germany since 1993. Production at both sites was gradually expanded and today, with a production capacity of up to 60,000 tonnes p.a., is one of the largest production facilities for welding wires in Europe. There is hardly a steel processing company in Germany or Europe that is not familiar with the wire electrodes from Hamm and Rothenburg. The OPTISONIC 3400 is a 3-path ultrasonic inline flowmeter designed for a wide range of standard or more demanding process applications with homogeneous, non-viscous aqueous liquids as well as viscous fluids of up to over 1000 cSt. It is also the perfect choice for applications with cryogenic products (as low as -200°C / -328°F), media with extended temperature ranges (up to +250°C / +482°F) as well as low or extreme pressure ratings. Based on the transit time method, the 3 parallel acoustic paths of the flowmeter allow bi-directional measurement independent of flow profile for high accuracy even under less favourable flow profile conditions (e.g. short inlet and outlet runs). By means of the velocity of sound, the device is also able to identify process changes or liquid pollution. Its fully welded construction does not cause any pressure loss and is maintenance-free. The OPTISONIC 3400 is available with flange as well as welded connections.

Flow sight glasses type 530 - PN16-40 designed as welded construction Use: Visual survey of flow and filling processes in piping. The sight glasses allow for a reliable observation of function and performance of single devices or complete plants. With this design, no significant amount of liquid will remain in the sight glass when installed horizontally. With standard sight glasses, liquid will remain in the sight glass body. This liquid will drain out with this design.

The housing head is screwed and secured by a heavy center bolt. The material polyurethane (PU) has a high load capacity with low abrasion. It also features high chemical resistance. These properties make polyurethane suitable for almost any application. In addition, PU offers low rolling resistance.
