The IP67 D-SUB SlimCon series are supplements to the IP67 D-SUB connector family. The CONEC SlimCon series has a very compact design of IP67 sealed D-SUB connectors with a one-piece zinc die-cast shell. The panel cut-out for the CONEC SlimCon series corresponds to the standard of other D-SUB connectors and thus no new cut-outs are required and refitting from standard IP20 systems to the new IP67 system of the CONEC SlimCon series is possible. The one-piece zinc die-cast shell makes the new CONEC SlimCon D-SUB connector a mechanically extremely robust interface with reliable IP67 protection – similar to the CONEC Solid Body series. However, due to its design, a reduction of the occupied space from 48% to 52 % compared to a standard IP67 protected connector can be achieved. Owing to its compact design and the one-piece zinc die-cast shell, the CONEC SlimCon series is ideal for industrial and harsh environments.

A two-piece hot-dip galvanised steel rod accord. to DIN EN 10240 (alternatively in stainless steel), coupling (bottom adapter) made of GJS400-15, galvanised accord. to DIN EN 12329, square cap (top adapter) made of GJS400-15, galvanised accord. to DIN EN 12329 and DIN 50961 (alternatively in stainless steel AISI 304). Suitable for operating key DIN 3223 C. Toolles assembly of the spindle extension with a stainless steel clip pin. Connection pins made of stainless steel 1.4301. Transport security of the rod minimum of 150 N. Self-locking in every adjustable position through a PE sealing collar on the steel tube. Torques accord. to GW336. Three-piece PE protection tube system with an additional corrugated protection tube, bonded centring cap and flange bell (F10). Completely dirt-proof and water-repellent.

This double-sided A-board is equipped with 2 waterproof poster pockets instead of the normal covers, so that your posters are optimally protected against rainwater. Furthermore, the back panels of this poster display are made of weather-resistant polystyrene. The poster stand thus defies all wind and weather. The uniform, high-quality look of the rainproof poster stand is ensured by the silver anodised click frames and the silver anodised base frames. The click frames are made of the 30 mm aluminium profile. To change the advertising media, the 4 frame profiles of the pavement stand are opened. The poster pocket is removed and the insert is replaced. After the exchange, the poster pocket is put back into the A-board and the profiles of the click frame are closed again. The poster exchange is done. Due to the use of waterproof poster pockets, the 30 mm profile creates a free space between the poster and the frame for technical production reasons.

The pavement WindSign "QS I" was technically updated and is now available as pavement WindSign "Seal". The stronger cover foil is fixed with screws on the top profile and cannot slip down anymore. The covers can still be exchanged if necessary. Two sticky pads are implemented in the upper part of the frame. Those make sure that your posters will be held in place during installation. Of course the pads are reusable. The optimised poster stand comes in new visual appearance. All pavement signs are made with a sturdy back-wall and 2 non-glare, UV stabilised front covers. The new sealant makes the display waterproof. The base can be filled with either water or sand and is movable on 2 wheels when tilted. The strong springs allow for the highest grade of stability even in “stormy” weather conditions. Posters can be exchanged quickly by opening the aluminium click frame profiles. The header board is inserted into the upper groove of the pavement sign and fixed with screws.

In order to protect the inserted posters effectively against rainwater, a surrounding grooved rubber sealing is mounted on the weather-resistant metal back walls and on the covers. The anti-reflective covers are made of UV-stabilised material to prevent the posters from fading. Due to the folding technique the insert media, such as posters, can be changed easily and quickly. In order to be able to achieve an optimum clamping effect even after years, we always use springs made of spring steel.

Our WindSign "Seal" is designed for permanent outdoor use. The folding technique of the frames guarantees a quick change of the posters. A circumferential sealing rubber mounted on the rear walls prevents water from entering. The rear walls are also made of weather-resistant polystyrene. The anti-reflective covers made of UV-stabilised material prevent the posters from fading. The installation of the customer stopper is very easy. The frame is simply screwed to the plastic base and the stand is ready for use. The high stability of the Wind Sign is guaranteed by the fillable base and the special spring technology, so that the stand can also be used in stormy weather. Thanks to the wheels integrated in the base, the WindSign "Seal" can be moved easily to the desired position.

Connector systems able to meet special demands are needed for industrial use in harsh environments. The water resistant connector system developed by CONEC is intended for applications where dust and water are factors. Corresponding accessories, such as water resistant hoods and protective caps are available. CONEC Solid Body and CONEC SlimCon D-SUB connector series were a consequent development to establish a D-SUB connector familiy which is especially designed for application in harsh industrial environment. The one piece body - made of zinc diecast - provides outstanding mechanical robustness and protection against splash water and dust under aggressive conditions.

Special applications have special requirements for connectors. For this field of application, CONEC developed water-tight D-SUB connectors with rating IP67. Owing to special sealing measures at the connector and the sealing frame, the high requirements are met. These connectors are used where dust and spray water occur and functioning of usual connectors would be negatively affected. These connectors are available as standard or high density in the usual pole number.
