Klöpper Therm designs and manufactures specified switch and control cabinets in various designs – for nearly all types of electric surface heating. By the installation of electronic controllers, heating systems can be controlled in dependence of temperature and/or humidity. Arising disruptions during the control of temperature measuring sensors such as e.g. a falling below temperature, can be signalled or transmitted via indicator lights and/or dry contacts. The operating conditions of each heating circuit in the cold store is indicated by LED indicator lights. Via keylock or push buttons, all heating circuits can be checked quickly and simply. You can easily get an overview about economic efficiency and energy consumption of your heating system incl. documentation with an operating hours counter or energy meter.

Conventional thermometers measure the temperature by means of length or volume change of a material, and are only suitable as display instrument. Temperature sensors from Lenord+Bauer use resistance thermometers that feature an almost temperaturelinear resistance curve, and output the resulting measurement data as electrical signal. They are suitable for a measurement range from 40 °C to +250 °C. A thin stainless steel tube protects the electronics from dirt, humidity and corrosion, allowing the sensors to meet the requirements of protection class IP 68. The sensors are in compliance with fire protection standards EN 45545 and are typetested according to EN 50155. • Platinum resistance thermometer Pt100 / Pt1000 • Measuring tube lengths from 30 mm to 140 mm • Connection with 2, 3 or 4wire technology • Fire behaviour according to DIN 5510 and NF F16101 • Custom configuration

The modules of the IMSP series are connected before the interface devices and provide reliable protection against voltage surges. The only 6.2 mm wide DIN rail devices are IP20 rated and can be used in the Ex and non-Ex area. Among other things, modules are available for surge-protected connection of analog signals (e.g. for analog signal isolators and temperature measuring amplifiers) as well as for connecting binary signals from switches or inductive and capacitive sensors.

The sheathing thermocouple from Therma is perfect for reliable and fail-safe temperature measurement in the exhaust gas system. It excels with its simple structure. By selecting double-walled sheathing material made of Nimonic75, this thermocouple is well prepared for corrosion influences and vibrations along with extremely high temperatures. Furthermore, assembly with a compression-type fitting lets you decide the installation length onsite. Sheathed thermocouples NiCr-Ni, Type “K”, Class 1

The braking fluid thermocouple from Therma convinces not only with its compact construction but also with its simple installation. Just screw it in in-place of the air vent screw to measure the temperature of the brake fluid. The subsequent sheathing line can then be comfortably bent in the required direction. When the thermocouple is screwed in, the braking system is then vented through its thread. The temperature measurement of the brake fluid, along with the brake disc surface measurement, also supplies important control values for a successful and safe race. During long races or races with many downhill routes, the brake disc overheats over-proportionally. The accruing radiation heat during this has a direct effect on the brake fluid, respectively heats it up. Depending on the type of brake fluid being used, it already reaches its boiling point at approx. 140–260 °C.

Temperature Sensor with ceramic isolation The temperature sensors of the TF Series are ideal for exact temperature measurements in highly sensitive medias. The ceramic insulation guarantees a direct reading of the melt temperature. Any influences by the flange or tool temperature are reduced to a minimum. The ceramic encases the measuring element and isolates it from the surrounding area. The design of the TF conforms to the recommended guide lines of the Plastics and Rubber trade association according to EUROMAP 31.
