Novelis Advanz™ 6HS s650 is Novelis’ latest offering to the high strength 6xxx series and caters to structural applications requiring high in-service strength. A tailor-made alloy, specifically designed for high strength requirements without compromising its forming characteristics, Novelis Advanz™ s650 has a 15-20% T6 strength advantage over incumbent high strength 6xxx, coupled with excellent crash behavior and corrosion resistance. Predominantly an alloy of choice for structural parts with high demand on forming and high strength after paint bake, typical areas of application are A-pillar, B pillar, roof traverse, rocker, inner and floor panels, bumpers and battery cases along with various other structural reinforcements. This product exhibits excellent after paint bake response which in turn provides high in-service strength making it an ideal material for light weighting of structural components. The EGR Cooler, developed in close collaboration with our customers for medium and low speed engines, ensures that the recirculation exhaust-gas is mixed at the lowest possible temperature with the air for the combustion process. EGR Coolers are an essential element of EGR systems for the next engine generation which already now fulfills future emission guidelines according to IMO (International Maritime Organization), EPA (US Emission Protection Agency), EURO, etc. We have developed various cooler designs with regard to the different requirements of EGR Coolers at 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines. The patented design for 4-stroke engines high pressure EGR system enables cooling of exhaust gas, some of which are over 700 °C, down to 50 °C.

"Combi" tools allow different technologies to be combined in a single step (in one tool) for more efficient plastic component production. These processes allow different materials and material combinations to be used. "Combi" tools enable a very fast and cost-effective production process with minimized space requirements. Based on their longtime expertise and completion of numerous serial projects, FRIMO is able to supply optimized tooling solutions that perfectly meet the product and customer requirements. The combination of multiple technologies/procedures in one step is called OneShot technology. Semi-finished products (e.g. renewable raw materials such as natural fibers) and decorative materials (e.g. textiles) have to be handled in one production step to finish a component, such as a door panel. FRIMO has developed a modular system that allows for simple and customized configuration of a OneShot plant with all necessary tools. The following units can be integrated into such a plant: feeding station, heating station, calibrating station, material assembly station, press with OneShot tool, part-removal station.

Composites are engineered materials made from two or more materials with significantly different physical or chemical properties. Their mechanical and physical properties depend on the type and proportion of the base materials and the parameters of the manufacturing process. Due to composites, very light and durable plastic parts can be produced. Composites may be prepared as layers , fibers, particles or penetrating composites , but the actual composite material usually only arises during the shaping process in the tool . FRIMO has extensive technical expertise and many years of experience in developing and manufacturing plants and tools to process composite materials such as CFK, GFK, NFPP, HFPP, LFT, GMT and BMC and supplies for the production processes such as RRIM, SRIM / GMPU, Long Fiber Technologies, NFI, or RTM tailor-made manufacturing equipment.
