The high-strength tube connectors are resistant to high temperatures and corrosion, and are engineered for dynamic loads. An electrochemical passivation – the tube connectors are electropolished in a final working step – makes them more resilient and resistant to acids than elements made of untreated stainless steel. As a result they are particularly resistant to cleaning with aggressive cleaning agents or hot water from high-pressure cleaners, and ideally suitable for use in packaging machines or for feeding technology in plants in the chemicals industry. Occasionally also these terms are used for cartridge heates: heating cartridge, insertion heaters, spiral cartridge heaters. As a rule cartridge heaters consist of a cylindrical stainless steel tube and thus provide a high corrosion prevention. There is a heating wire inside which is wound onto a ceramic core. The number of coils varies depending on the power. In order to avoid a short-circuit, the cartridge heater is filled with magnesium oxide and compressed afterwards. Highly compacted they reach a surface watt density of up to 50 W/cm² and withstand highest stress. In the plastics industry cartridge heaters are used in hot runners in order to temper thermoplasts during injection moulding processes. Other areas of applications for process heat are e. g. packaging, diecasting or continuous casting in which zinc or aluminium are processed. Further applications are to be found in mechanical as well as medical and laboratory engineering.

The HSHP – Drum Heater (220 °C) is suitable for steel drums (and with restrictions also for plastic drums). The outer material is a Teflon which is released for contact with food. The material possesses high levels of chemical and acid resistance. However, products such as waxes, soaps and materials with high water content can be heated excellently as well. The drum heating jacket is lightweight, robust and free of silicone. The excellent thermal transfer properties due to the perfect fit result in homogenous temperatures. Our silicone-free high-temperature drum heater is available in the standard size of 200 liters but can also be made to customer specification.

The multiple water quantity control system in modular design that is available in several versions fulfils not less than three requirements at the same time. It combines the advantages of the conventional water distributors, the impulse cooling systems and the continuously operating temperature control units while eliminating the disadvantages of each of these systems. The temperature control system disposes of up to 128 individually adjustable circuits and is suitable for the processing of polyolefins and technical thermoplastic materials. In case of the basic execution (itd B) the requested flow rate is adjusted manually and is then monitored by a flow meter and presented digitally and graphically on the central display of the control unit. In the standard execution (itd R) the water quantity is individually set for each circuit at the central operating unit and - if necessary - is readjusted automatically via a water quantity regulation valve within adjustable limit values.

The angle transducers have a magnetic scanning according to the HALL principle. Due to the robust design, critical and interference-free applications in harsh environments can be realized. They have a robust housing (wall thickness > 5 mm) made of aluminium or stainless steel, shaft and ball bearing made of stainless steel, shaft with flattening, rotor with shaft and permanent magnet mounted in prechamber, sensor circuit consisting of ASIC with Hall elements and interface electronics housed in closed main chamber. Two models are available: For low and high temperature applications. The model for low-temperature use is equipped with a special grease for bearings and shaft seal. Seals and shaft seal are made of PTFE. Cable gland with clamping jaw pressure screw and silicone seal. The high temperature model is without shaft seal. Under the rear cover, there is a signal path switch (CW/CCW). On the side there is a preset button (4 mA) placed under a screw plug.
