Universal use for a wide range of applications Ice stores are used in more and more areas of technology. In addition to the classic areas of application in refrigeration, air conditioning and commercial kitchen technology, ice storage systems and cold water systems are increasingly being used in process engineering systems. Cold water for subsequent production processes is generated with ice storage tanks. Ice storage systems thus provide stored cold. Use of cheap night electricity tariffs With the help of ice storage technology, cheap nighttime electricity tariffs can be used. During the night, ice is continuously built up on the plates or on the pipe coils. This ice is then available during the day as stored cooling capacity. This can significantly reduce energy costs. The cooling units can also be made smaller when using ice storage systems.

The application range includes everything from processing of viscous components to paste-like products with poor flow. The range of food applications is exceptionally broad and there are also various applications for the pharmaceutical industry. The conical shape permits thorough residue-free discharge. The wet mixer system is a vertical mixing system for batch processes. The geometry of the conical or cylindrical mixing vessel, the arrangement and shape of the tools and their peripheral speed are adapted to each other in all sizes, resulting in effective mixing of all components. Depending on the process engineering tasks, the individual mixing tools are combined to form one tool both for material transport and for dispersion and disagglomeration processes. The installation height in the vessel is adjustable within a wide range. An adjustable deflector can be used to affect the product movement in a systematic fashion.

Every industrial production requires energy in order to make products. Often, electrical or primary energy is induced as heat, used for operation and must then be dissipated, converted or destroyed. Our gwk process engineers analyse and calculate production processes and the overall thermal periphery with the objective of lowering the necessary energy by means of energy recycling, of reducing the energy requirement at the individual stations, of converting energy or using it several times and dissipating it sensibly. The result is considerable energy saving, which results in cost-cutting and contributes to preserving the environment.

With 110 kW, the K11000-3G high-pressure pump is a powerful plunger pump that is mostly used in intermittent operation. The reason for this is that this KAMAT high pressure pump has splash lubrication and not oil pressure lubrication. This makes the pump more suitable for intermittent operation, but it is extremely robust and can therefore be used in continuous operation even at 110 kW. Classic applications for this pump are industrial cleaning, blasting and process engineering. High-Pressure Cleaning, Load Change Systems and Pressure Test Systems If your application requires forced lubrication and an oil cooler may be required, the powerful K9000-3G three-plunger high-pressure pump is an alternative to the smaller K8000-3G three-plunger high-pressure pump. Like the compact K8000 model, this 90 kW high-pressure pump is suitable for smaller industrial applications such as industrial cleaning, jetting or process engineering. Solid wire electrode suitable for joining and surfacing alloys of similar composition with up to 30% nickel as well as non-ferrous alloys and dissimilar steel grades. VGraph is the software package for the recording and visualisation of data with extensive statistical data evaluation options. It synchronously records up to 16 measurement values – for example thickness, width and speed of the strip, rolling force or strip tension – on a production line, stores them and evaluates them statistically. With statistical functions such as histograms, Cp and CpK values and error lists, VGraph provides valuable decision aids for the evaluation and further use of the coil produced. The diagnostic instruments allow optimisation of the rolling process and the line engineering. The optional FFT analysis detects periodic fluctuations in the strip thickness. VGraph meets the needs of day-to-day strip production. One example: Random lengths of strip at the leading and trailing ends (drop-off) can be suppressed – even subsequently – in the statistical evaluations.

The quality of a raw material in a natural deposit is uniform only in the ideal cases. Very often the quality of the raw material in the natural deposit and its extraction process varies. This has ramifications on subsequent mining processes. In addition to the changes in particle size and the properties of the stone material, the type and amount of the unwanted material especially can have a considerable negative impact on the result of the washing process. A material that is not sufficiently cleaned can lead to technical problems in subsequent downstream processes, which can lead to a product that requires further processing or one that can be marketed only at a lower price.
