In addition, the tubes become completely oxygen-impermeable, which is indispensable when connecting radiators, for example. Using state-of-art production facilities and experienced specialists, Novelis ensures top quality in the manufacture of its products – across the entire production process, from casting and processing the ingots via hot and cold rolling, to packaging.

To produce industrial aluminum of this caliber, Novelis begins by carefully controlling the composition of the alloy, then taking exceptional care in the casting procedure to avoid non-metallic impurities. The surfaces of the aluminum ingots are then sawed and scalped to remove any new impurities before rolling. These ingots are preheated for long periods for optimal homogenization of the metal structure, then hot- and cold-rolling procedures achieve high surface quality. “Bright rolling” delivers the highest possible surface consistency and reflectivity. The result is an aluminum surface reflective enough to be used as a mirror.

Hot rolled steel products are rolled from casting slab and produced as a coil. We are supplying materials with thicknesses between 1-25mm and width up to 2000mm as a coil, slitted or cut to length sheets. Our stock includes hot rolled sheet materials produced according to EN 10025-2, EN 10028-2, EN 10149-2, SAE J403, ASTM A283, EN 10083-2, ASTM A1011, EN 10111, EN 10025-4, DIN 1614- 1 and others.

Hot rolled steel is a type of steel that is formed by the hot rolling process at a temperature above its recrystallization temperature. Steel is easier to form at this elevated temperature. Compared to cold rolled steel, hot rolled steel does not usually require heat treatment after forming. Hot rolled steel usually has more mill scale than cold rolled steel.

Cold rolled steel sheets are produced by re-rolling process of hot rolled steel sheets in order to provide precise thickness distribution across the coil. The surface roughness of the cold rolled materials is lower compared to hot rolled steels and suitable for painting and coating applications. According to the customers demands, it can be supplied in coil, slitted and cut to length sheet form. Our stock includes cold rolled steel sheet materials produced according to EN 10130, EN 10268, EN 10338, EN 10209 and others.

Stainless steel square, other grades available on request, hot rolled. Technical delivery conditions according to DIN EN 10088-3:2014. Design according to DIN EN 10059. Acceptance test certificates according to DIN EN 10204/3.1 are issued for the manufactured sections. The regular minimum order quantity is 500 kg. We pack the finished profiles in bundles weighing approx. 500 kg. Each bundle is provided with two labels giving information on dimensions, material number, heat number, weight, manufacturer's mark and the responsible mill expert. The produced bars are delivered with mill test certificates according to DIN EN 10204/3.1. Available in random lengths of 4000-6500 mm. *The regular minimum order quantity is 500 kg. The finished bars are packed in bundles of approx. 500 kg. Each bundle carries two labels, providing information about dimensions, grade, heat number, weight, manufacturer's code and works inspector. Other dimensions on request.
