The leading manufacturers in the respective industries number amongst our customers. We supply the European and international market with cold-forming wires in sizes ranging from 1.5 mm to 42 mm.

The APG-process by HÜBERS permits short cycle times thanks to rapid gelation and demoulding with automatic opening and closing of the mould. During the gelling process, fresh material is supplied continuously to the mould under pressure in order to prevent cracks and voids and to compensate for the shrinkage of the material. The mould is held together by the clamping machine. The degassed material is injected into the APG mould directly from the static mixer. Shrinkage compensation is carried out by the HÜBERS metering pumps. One central mixing and metering system can serve several clamping machines. In this case each clamping machine has its own static mixer positioned directly in front of the mould and also has its own shrinkage compensation unit to maintain the pressure. The system is supplied via a ring line which requires no maintenance and is free of sedimentation. In principle the length of this line is insignificant.

Special machines from Schmale Maschinenbau are equipped with an intelligent combination of technologies. The plant shown above is used to manufacture reinforcement items from solid material with a diameter of 20mm for the building industry. Servo-electric units such as bending slides, presses and finger benders are combined into customer-specific solutions for the production of individual items that can not be produced on standard machines. All the drives are servoelectric by design and, if needed, CNCoperated. In our SRM typeforming machines, all the settings are preloaded, so there is no longer any need for costly adjustments. Different tool variants further expand the processing possibilities for chipless cutting or postbending cutting. The machines can produce internal and external profiles and can also roll in synchronicity thanks to a special tool head (inside/outside).

With the new generation of our combination machines, we have continued to develop the new diversity for forming pipes. Geometries that effectively replace high-cost and expensive turned parts can be formed directly at the pipe end in the endforming machine – for a final component of a single workpiece that is ready for use without elaborate soldering or welding. Implementation of the combination can be specified by you or based directly on the forming geometry. This is usually done using up to 6 axial forming stages and at least one rotary unit. Trimming, as well as axial and rotary forming, may require 2 rotary forming stations. Simple trimming or deburring after forming at the pipe end are no demanding challenges. Therefore, all our axial forming machines and combination machines are equipped with one or several single-drive axes. They have a servo-electrical drive and can be used in each of the holders for the forming stages, making the system is very flexible and compact.

A clamping ring machine is a system for the automatic production of clamping rings. Schmale Maschinenbau Gmbh is one of the leading manufacturers of clamping ring machines in Europe. On our clamping ring machines, the strip material is profiled, bent and cut. Automatically closures are supplied and welded. The finished clamping ring is calibrated and stored. Via a servo-electric transfer, all processing stations are connected to each other and operated simultaneously. Thus, cycle rates of up to 28 clamping rings per minute can be realized.

Finger bender technology on our X2000NC This is new and revolutionary! Do you know our X2000NC? Then you know the advantages of our variable, modular machine concept. In this new model, we have consistently transferred the finger bending technology of the SPEEDMAX to the X2000NC. This model now combines all the advantages of two bending worlds. By integrating the NC bending technology in combination with our rotary positioning pliers and the servo transfer, the X2000NC is now pushing material speeds to a whole new level. E.g.: Up to 40 parts per minute, each one with up to 6 bendings and 1 press operation is possible

The economic adjustment to small batch sizes, we meet with our turned parts for the direct assembly in plastics and die-cast products. Any thread forms such as, thread-tapping (DIN7500), thread cutting (DIN 7513-7516) or KTG for direct screw in plastics are realized cost-effectively. Advantage is the elimination of high tooling costs, since no counter-thread in the workpiece (eg threaded inserts, nuts, etc.) is required because the direct assembly takes place directly into the workpiece. Only a given tube is required in order to screw it directly. Powerful and fast forming. The type UMR tube forming machine uses smart operating technology with many preset settings that can be retrieved automatically to achieve perfect mirrorlike surfaces. When producing flaring with 20°90° angles, with a clamping length of 1 x D, the machine achieves perfect sealing surfaces. Flaring up to 90° can be produced in a single cycle. Tools can be changed extremely quickly. With the appropriate tools the machine can also close tube ends.

Preformed silicone heaters are useful for diamters as small as 12 mm and up to 100 mm. Rounded silicone heaters are not possible with self-adhesive foil. Spiral Wrap Pre-Formed Silicone Rubber Heaters are suitable for tubes and flexible pipes and hoses with Ø 6,35 mm (1/4"). Spiral formed flex heaters can be used up to Ø 12 mm (the length of the stretchable silicone spiral wrap heater is reduced accordingly). The thickness of our spiral-wrapped silicone strip heaters is 2,2 mm. Also our gas and pump line heaters, most frequently used in the semi-conductor process, are shaped and pre-formed according to the object geometry to be heated. They are designed to regulate temperatures in order to prevent condensation in the line. Current applications here are Semi Conductors, Vacuum Chambers, Wafer Chucks, Valves, Exhaust & Pump Systems.
