Pneumatic Rotational Clamping Holding torque 76 Nm Direct clamping on the shaft: Rotation motions are prevented by the ACE models LOCKED R. Their clamping elements are available for shaft diameters of 50 to 340 mm and ensure maximum holding forces. The clamp is immediately applied by the diaphragm and spring-plate system when pressure is lost. Pneumatic quick-switch valves reduce the reaction times. The costs are low in comparison with hydraulic clamping systems. Their performance is, however, achieved or exceeded despite the compact and easy to assemble design. Special versions for YRT bearings as well as active clamping elements are additionally available. ACE recommends the use of the optional shaft flange as wear protection. The clamping force can be increased considerably by the use of the additional air function.

Pneumatic Rod Clamping, Compact Holding force 700 N Holding torque 7 Nm Compact and safe: when space becomes restricted, the compact LOCKED PRK clamping elements come into their own. As pneumatic rod clamping with low heights of 28 to 34 mm, they provide clamping forces of up to 5,000 N. Clamping is carried out by a diaphragm spring-plate system and is released when compressed air is applied. Clamping elements from the LOCKED PRK product family absorb the forces on rods with diameters between 20 and 40 mm both axially and rotationally. Valve Technology Force range max. 5,000 N Stroke - mm Cover two differing force ranges: Tandem push type gas springs by ACE are maintenance-free and ready-to-install with two pressure tubes with different extension forces and progression curves. With this type of gas spring you cover the different force ranges between the start and end of an application. These force ranges are adjusted and compliment each other, designed individually for the relevant application by the free of charge ACE calculation service, then are specifically manufactured adjusted precisely to the required dynamics of the application. The customer specific systems, for which there are many fitting parts, are specifically suitable for heavy loads with large opening angle and can also be delivered in stainless steel versions.

In the serial arrangement, a vertically aligned linear drive shaft (double-acting linear cylinder) is mounted on the vertically aligned rotary drive shaft (swivel motor), i.e. the piston rod of the cylinder and the output shaft of the swivel motor are mechanically coupled via a movable shaft-hub connection. The pallet holder is lifted by the piston rod, which also serves as a bearing for the pallet holder and safely absorbs all the forces generated during asymmetrical loading. For forced cooling, Seifert electronic offers compact fan units in various performance classes. The variable fin spacing in the high-performance heat sinks ensures strong cooling during fan operation. In forced convection cooling, fans are required as separate sources of convection. To ensure optimal convection during fan operation, it is recommended to incorporate heat sink profiles. The fin spacing in heat sink profiles is particularly important, as increasing the surface area is key for forced cooling. To push this boundary further, we have continuously reduced the fin spacing in our profiles. Depending on the model, up to three fans per cooler are possible, which can optionally be equipped with pressure chambers for improved air guidance. Most heat sinks are already equipped with aerodynamically designed hollow fins. Additionally, air deflectors for air guidance are available for some heat sink profiles.

TesT Force transducers are particularly characterized by precision, quality, robustness, durability and convenient handling. On demand we also provide specially-designed force transducers with other dimensions and measuring ranges. TesT delivers all electrical force and torque transducers with TEDS chips (TEDS = Transducer Electronic Data Sheet nach IEEE 1451.4). The electronic units of the model 813 and the TesTController 850-USB may recognize sensors equipped with TEDS chips, read their properties and calibration data and automatically calibrate with them. Thus, these electronic units operate with dozens of different sensors so that a complex recalibration is not required.

Precise even with low strip tension The segment rolls were developed specially for use in stretch bending levellers. The extremely free-running measuring rings permit high-precision shape measurement even with very low strip tensions. A rigid tubular section which forms the shaft of the roll supports several pivotably mounted measuring rings. They form the outer shell of the measuring roll over which the strip passes. Force sensors inside the measuring rings detect the force resulting from the strip tension. The sensors have high resolution, are overload-proof and maintenance-free. The data are transmitted through the centre axis of the roll and output as a Profibus signal.
