Safely carries single cables Where single cables are to be routed in a group and supported firmly without the use of trunking, the Single Wire System SWS from PFLITSCH offers a better alternative to cable ties, clamps, hoses or hook and eye fastener tape. Your advantages: Bendable VA stainless steel rod for robust, flexible cable routing support Corrosion-resistant system Easy to clean, open cable routing Easy installation with VA stainless steel or plastic mounts SWS consists of bendable and yet robust 5 mm support rods with open routeing rings into which the cable is simply laid. Lines and hoses up to 16 mm can be safely accommodated – on straight sections or around corners. The support rods are attached with bolted-on plastic mounting plates or VA stainless steel mounts welded on to the machine body for example.

The PFLITSCH CABseal is used to feed pre-assembled and non-assembled cables, as well as pneumatic and hydraulic lines, simply and reliably into control cabinets, primarily, but also into enclosures and machines. To this end, their sizes and dimensions of the frames are compatible with the common standard cut-outs and hole patterns in control cabinets so that just a single CABseal frame is required per cut-out. The CABseal cable entry system consists of four different sized frames and a number of cable grommets that can be equipped in various constellations. The grommets are slotted at the sides to make it easier to insert cables. While the frame is made of hard and robust polyamide, we use a flexible elastomer for the cable grommets and their special sealing lips. To ensure the cables are properly sealed, the grommets are positioned in the frame and compressed when the upper part of the frame is screwed down.

Practical, cost-effective and, above all, flexible solutions for quick cabling are required for both small series as well as special purpose machines. The measuring drum is connected to a pulse generator, which generates two pulses every 0.1 mm offset by 90°. The measuring drum winds the steel cable in a single layer so that the resolution is independent of the position. The rope entry is protected against dirt by brushes.

The linear movement of a flexible steel cable, which can have a length of up to 2 m, is converted into an angular movement with the aid of a measuring drum. The measuring drum is coupled via a gear to a conductive plastic potentiometer. The restoring force of the spring drive holds the measuring cable tight at all times and prevents any sagging which would otherwise induce an error. The measuring drum moves axially on a spindle ensuring that the cable is wound up precisely and reproducibly wrap for wrap in the helical groove of the drum. The cable entry contains a brush to remove dust.
