CSN® PreHeater consists of one or more CSN® Flow Heaters, which are equipped with a valve and a pump, as well as standalone controller.Combustion engines requiring immediate operational readiness must be preheated before starting. The wellknown cold start problems are eliminated and the engine can be operated at full load from the beginning. Furthermore, cold start wear is considerably reduced. Typical fields of application for this type of preheater units are e.g. emergency power units (Diesel engine + generator) or locomotives and ships (Diesel engine for propulsion).Combustion engines requiring immediate operational readiness must be preheated before starting. The ARCUSAFLEX coupling is a highly flexible flywheel coupling with an axial plug-in facility, providing a torsionally soft connection between an internal combustion engine and a driven machine. For decades we have been a leader in the development and manufacture of charge air coolers for combustion engines. This new addition to our product line is a compact heat exchanger made from high-alloyed stainless steel and can handle temperatures up to 550°C. Its compact and modular design makes it extremely versatile and easy to service. Our exhaust gas heat exchanger is designed to recover heat from exhaust gas produced for example by combustion engines used in combined heat and power plants. The heat exchanger transfers the heat from the exhaust gas to a liquid (water or water-glycol solutions). When heated up, this liquid can be used in central heating systems; for preheating air in the combustion chambers of furnaces and turbines; to dry coal, pulp, wood and other materials as well as for generating electricity with a Rankine process.
